Didn’t realize he was on pitch against DC United until they he took a free kick. He contributed very little during the run of play. Thank God a United player suffered a concussion and Tata was able to bring on a difference maker(Campana) to score a stoppage time goal. The only constant from the two fixtures between United and Inter Miami is that Miami earn an absurd number of free kicks when little or contact is made. I guess thinking a defender could make contact with you is now the threshold for a foul and set pieces. Henry and Beckham didn’t receive this type of charity back the league much more physical and brutish. Of course they were younger and did much more running to get back on defense. Stupid two way players…

​@@roberttyner5809 The only constant is that DC United is a team that is dedicated to making fouls in their games. Even having 19 (Vs Orlando), 19 (Vs St.Louis), 18 (Vs Columbus), 22 (Vs Seattle Sounders) & 17 (Vs Atlanta United). 5 of their last 10 games have almost 20 free kicks.

I root for DC, im a Guatemala fan so i love seeing Aaron getting goal contributions but don’t think a single game after Messi came back from a small injury and crazy weather that DC in any way is same or better than Miami with a Messi lol DC lost to Redbulls, the same redbulls that were destroyed by Miami lol but i refuse to believe Redbulls is better than DC, it’s just one game and that won’t determine who’s better. Messi didn’t have a good game but Messi can easily get 3-5 goal contribution next game. I dont like it when people come to watch football match with the mindset of coming to see one star player. It is a game of 11 vs 11 and not 1 vs 11. I know Messi is the best player in the world but he cant do everything and both Him and Ronaldo are getting older. Most people think Messi sees Ronaldo has a rival but the fact is that he just sees him as every other footballer. I dont know if Ronaldo sees Messi as a rival. There is a saying that you dont appreciate what you have until you lose it. It is until Messi officially retires from football that most people will start to appreciate him. Even some Ronaldo fans that pretends to love Ronaldo more than Messi but secretly admires Messi will or may cry when Messi announces his retirement.
