Why Mo Salah Is The PREMIER LEAGUE GOAT!

Salah has 332 goals/assists in 7.5 seasons. Henry had 324 goals/assists in 8 seasons for arsenal (ignoring his 2nd spell loan season to make this comparison more fair) That really sums up how salah is in the conversation of new goat debate. Some henry fans here were commenting that salah can't be compared to henry because of "eye test". what on earth is this subjective eye test? Can we say neymar, hazard is better than henry? If everything goes right....by the end of this season salah will have 2 pl titles (same as henry), 3 pfa player of the year (same as henry), 3 fwa footballer of the year (same as henry), 4 golden boot (same as henry)! So by the end of 8 seasons salah and henry will have the same no. of pl titles and awards! The only thing differentiating them is goals/assists and salah have them more. So logically speaking, salah will be the new goat after this season if salah ends up with the same no. of titles and awards. Salah is also better in big matches as he has the 2nd most g/a against big 6 teams and he won a ucl too (and could've won another if he wasn't injured by ramos) whereas henry's ucl stats are horrible by his standard.

Obviously the conversation of whos better between salah and henry has already started, and that in itself is a huge accomplishment for salah or any player for that matter. Personally i prefer to take my bias out of this and let the numbers speak for themselves, especially when it comes to individual performance and production. If salah continues producing the way he has, especially if he extends his contract, i dont see how he wouldnt be better than Henry.

A goal hanger who can score 50 goals a season is rubsh if he is the reason his team can only score 70 in total because of his poor touches, passing, dribbling. A false 9 who can score 15 goals a season is world class if he is the reason his team can score 120 goals in total because of his great touches, passing, dribbling. What matters is to maximise the TOTAL number of goals your TEAM can score. A Ronaldinho with zero goals would still be so much better than a Walcott with 30 goals. You can do skill moves to dribble or tiki taka pass your way through an entire team including the keeper, and when you are 1 cm away from the goal, you pass to your league two level teammate, and your teammate pass to another league two level teammate and score. And if you do it 10 times a match, your team would score 380 goals a season because of you. You would get zero G/A. Now who is world class? You or the two 380 G/A teammates? You should never judge a player just by his stats. You have to actually watch and analyse the football.

Some fans, pundits, or former players are of the opinion that Ronaldinho was the best pure footballer of all time, regardless of numbers of longevity. Others say C. Ronaldo is because he's a numbers robot. Henry was a nicer player to watch than Salah. He was smoother and better on the eye.
