I'd been in markets for more than 5 years and many a times came across this word Momentum investing. I was very uncomfortable about this term nd always associated this term to Trading nd because of that it's a big NO NO for me to practice this. After watching this video,firstly i want to heartfully thank Mr Vivek Bajaj for bringing Mr Alok Jain to this platform. Believe me i have the same strategy figured out just few months back i never earned a penny before this strategy for 3 years. 1. Create a pool of fundamentally good growth oriented small and mid cap stocks 2. Select minimum 30 stocks in the pool 3. Buy all stocks worth 10000 shares quantity is irrespective here 4. Look the stocks whic are in momentum and running and fuel them with more and more money step by step likr upward averaging, the more it runs the more fuel you add which is your money 6 finally sell all stocks downside of 15 percent stop loss except for 10000 worth until it gives you another cycle of momentum.

Just checked the strategy mentioned in this video and sorry to say but the same strategy is available on their small case as well and last 4 year CAGR is only 10% for this strategy which is very very poor.. And again next month I book profit of 40% in another stock then my amount will be 140 thousand so now I have to invest 140 thousand in the stock which is now in first 20 stocks. I want to ask one thing . Suppose I pick a stock increased by 300 percent. I enter it , it just increases by 10 percent more in a week and then it starts correcting , and falls by 100 percent in 2 weeks ...say liberty shoe for a recent example ....what should be my exit point ? ...this is the problem that actually happens with momentum investing and it's very hard to exit ...what percentage of stop loss can be used ? ...it's easier said then done !!

Yes it is simple but but not easy. Not every trade will be a winner. There will be drawdowns but you will still emerge a winner

They automatically deduct 1 lot share from my account. Or They will take a panelty and give me share by auction with 6% to 20% penalty.

SIr my question is do we have to analyse all CNX 200 stocks or just our stocks each month?
