Thanks for this video, Info is everything i didn't know about this Law. Growing up i used to ask myself how come we never see Women from other countries. I used to think Men hide them from SA men. I come from Small town and we've only grown-up being friends with Male outside of SA but never did i see their Female siblings/relatives out there like that. This Law must change so that everyone can work and contribute. Thats how economy will grow. And Women are important to every Nation.

There’s nothing wrong with Nigerian women being house wives. We South Africa women are jealous of the fact that most of us don’t have the option of being stay at home wives.We can’t depend on our men like that . Most black South African men don’t like providing for their wives in fact we are expected to contribute financially and on most cases we are the bread winners.

Thank you so much for the kind words🌸 The only spouse/relatives that can work are those whose spouses already have a permanent residence or those who have naturalized. The spouses of those on a temporal permit cannot work unless they have a general work permit🫠 but trust me we still find ways to contribute positively to our community that's why we have salons, fashion designers, make up artists etc🌸

But from the top of my head I can name, Kike Oniwinde, Crystal Adesanya, Feyi Ayodele, Ama Marfo. Just google them and you’ll see, and baningi I just mentioned a few I know from the industry I’m in, there’s hundreds of other industries too. Hope that helps

The American K1 Visa is also the same. You're not allowed to work, for the first 15months. There after, you can apply for a green-card & work

It's a wish for most women but it's not realistic in this financial climate. Everybody must contribute financially. I personally grew up with a working mother and women who are relatives and I just knew I have no option. My parents made it clear I must not depend on anyone financially and I don't want to.

Even our great grandmother's were Never house wives, when the husband were in Gauteng or busy hunting/grazing livestock women were in farming..

@@Bbb-ml4gb True, but the farming time was regulated and hours were flexible, they also did a lot of things that currently they are paying for. Like Day care, household chores, buying new clothes monthly etc. Children need their mothers more, especially during the foundation years. For me a better solution will be for a wife to start working when Children are above 8 years

@@phelphel6157 9-5, Yes. That is why I prefer building a career first and family later. When you have resources and good connections, it's easy to be creative about how you work. You can get intellectually stimulated, ripping financial benefits and breastfeeding at your convenient time, while being supportive to your partner in many ways than being just househelp. The problem is spending your 20's building a family, especially your early 20's. You are bound to get stuck in 9-5 and resenting your job. Cause by the time your child turns 8, companies are no longer keen on giving you good chances. Age matters.

Employers have nothing to prove if you fall under the critical skill category. Even at that you still need to have a VALID GENERAL WORK PERMIT to get a job in SA unlike if you have a permanent resident or you have completely naturalized🥰

Nigeria does not have a drug problem. Most Nigerian youths don't do drugs, they drink alcohol, and few smoke weed and cigarettes. but sniffing, injecting, or swallowing hard pills is not our thing. So I don't know why people think Nigerian men are drug dealers🤷🏽‍♀️ I wonder what they are gonna say about Mexicans, Cubans, and the rest? 🤷🏽‍♀️

We have our youth who’ve been directly affected and have shown us their distributors who are Nigerians and they don’t deny it. The arrogance and evilness is beyond our comprehension. We don’t understand why they would come so far away to destroy young lives. I’ve never seen this level of evilness. It hurts more when fellow Africans are the ones contributing to our destruction.
