In this video I talk about what it takes to make it as an artist, musician, youtuber or creative person. Wether you are playing the violin, cello, viola, bass, dancing, or rapping, music is a tough career to pursue because there are a lot of people who are also pursing music. The crazy thing is, you don't even have to be good. You just have to stay consistent. There's fans out there who will like what you do.
If you're an artist watching this video, focus on your craft, music lyrics, your instrument, your happiness, and don't focus on the people who tell you that you're not good enough.Hopefully this is motivation or inspiration to keep going on your music journey. There's a ton of tips and tricks to become a successful musician now, but the thing that will stand the test of time is the lives you impacted through your art. Stay inspired. 🚀

I've been watching your videos, since the very beginning. I have fond memories of turning on my family Wii in the living room, going on it's KZbin app and watching you play violin when I got home from school. I would grab my violin and try to play along with you. You were such an inspiration to me all those years ago. In the recent years, I've been going through a terrible depressive rut, and my creativity and consistency have suffered. I'm a composer and I play the violin and viola now. But I haven't been practicing or putting in time to do what I love to do... I was doubting myself constantly, thinking that I wasn't gonna get anywhere anyways... But I come across the video, and now I'm hearing advice that I've needed for a long time. I'm going to gradually practice more. I'm going to sit down and continue to write more music, no matter if it's good or bad sounding. I'm going to start again. I'm going to push on. I need to. Music means everything to me. It's what brings me the most joy in life. Thank you for this. ❤️

At only 28, you've already got a lot of wisdom that will carry you through. And what you say applies to all endeavors, whether creative or building one's own business. Consistency and perseverance. As you say, "Do something every day to further yourself" ~ great advice and wise words to live by. Thanks for this video! 🙂💜

Been following you for years. You’re right - when hitting a plateau/setback, one simply has to focus on being a little bit better than they were yesterday (no pressure - nothing more). A good reminder for all, including me at times. May your wisdom continue to carry you and those around you to great joy and health!

So there were two frogs, OK? One frog was fat and the other was skinny, and they went on a journey to find food and decided to jump into a vat of milk. Unfortunately the vat of milk had slippery sides, so once the frogs jumped in they were unable to jump out. The fat frog told his friend, “There is no way we are going to get out of here! We are doomed!” The skinny frog told his friend, “Just keep paddling. Don’t give up and we will get out of here.” So the two frogs paddled, for hours, and the fat frog told his friend again, “I am so tired. We might as well give up and drown in peace.” The skinny frog replied, “Don’t lose hope, keep paddling.” So the two frogs continued paddling for a few more hours. Then after nothing changed the fat frog told his friend, “Nothing is happening from all our effort. I am done trying, I am going to stop paddling. There’s no use in trying anymore.” And so the fat frog stopped paddling and very quickly drowned in the vat of milk. Although the skinny frog was sad to see his friend give up he kept paddling and suddenly after another ten minutes of paddling he felt something hard beneath his feet and he pressed against it and jumped out the vat of milk. After all of that paddling he had churned the milk into butter. Never give up. Never stop. Be yourself.
