Yay! You're back!!! If CBUS is growing as fast as you say they will definitely have to work on their Public Transportation. They at least need to consider light rail. They have a chance to avoid a lot of the mess that other Cities made of their traffic situation that have overlooked this issue. MAKE CBUS WALKABLE!

Light rail us often discussed but not yet committed to. The last proposal that I know of was to run a line up N. High St.
@JayYoung-ro3vu6 ай бұрын
@indigoinarritu6096 Publi transportation all depends on population density and job creation centers. Columbus has really turned on the heat to construct short (10 stories or less) in the last decade. Now, the conversion of former office towers has begun. Next, getting the rights of way for light rail. The airport to downtown might be a first route? Or a line up to the Polaris area (which had long been talked about)?
@Davidgon1005 ай бұрын
I'd love to see a nice heavy rail metro network! More than anything I hope we'd get a station in Polaris. It's relatively dense compared to other outer ring developments and I see more apartment buildings popping up every day.

I just moved (end of February '24) to Groveport, OH. I'm 15 minutes to downtown, but in a very safe suburban setting. This town dies after 8pm, but all the cool places to hangout are, like I said, 15minutes away! My apartment in Lexington, KY was the same price, but the apartment I found here is 2x the size!

Love your videos, my friend! I'm a disabled vet. looking to move to Columbus within the next 12-24 months. Would love to see your knolwedge of the area applied to a video highlighting opprotunities/services/programs/etc. for vets in the area. For instance I've seen you mention before that property taxes can be high in Columbus. Disabled vets get some write offs or deductions on that, I'm pretty confident, that others might want to know about as well. Or that Columbus has a big VA facility just 10-15 minutes outside of the downtown area. Thanks for the great and always informative content, Sir!

There aren’t any tradesmen there, or there aren’t enough tradesmen there, so it sounds like if you need your heating fixed or your air conditioning fixed in the summer, or your plumbing fixed, who do you call? I looked up that Ohio hospital, and even though it’s supposed to be great, it has a lot of terrible reviews on Google. it reminds me of a certain hospital in Florida (Tampa General) that was on a US News World and Report list, but it was literally a terrible hospital and anyone who had an experience there didn’t want to go back.

Nice video, sir. Easily said by someone who makes money getting people to buy homes in Columbus.! Columbus is a fine area but I would like to point out it has changed a lot and not all for the bettter. I’m good at being rude and blunt so here it goes. Let me remind you the southside has been a mess for as long as I can remember. The casino certainly hasn’t saved the declined west side. Northland is literally a Third World. Eastland is a downright deserted boarded up ghetto. And I don’t know why you think traffic is so wonderful getting around. That’s the real Columbus. Your customers aren’t being steered to. I bet you’re selling much higher prices outside of 270 in a burb. Of course since nearly the whole county is trchnicslly “Columbus,” (but you may not have to go to Columbus schools, thank God,) You can still say it’s Columbus!!

If people are moving to Columbus, it's because of the bad since of direction.
@JayYoung-ro3vu7 ай бұрын
No, it's not "bad direction." Our state capital is a job creating engine. It has taken four decades for the throttle to reach "full." Other Ohio cities will see the spill over growth/redevelopment. What made us great in the mid-19th-mid 20th centuries is required again, and we have it in trainloads!

Columbus has the most impatient drivers. They have been voted third most impatient drivers in America. And an impatient driver is a dangerous driver. “Tail Gate city”. Everywhere you drive you will be tail gated. Get ready to disregard the speed limit or you will be passed in the most dangerous situations. Generally, speed over curtsy.
