Love the first Episode. I can't wait to hear more. Good, Bad and Ugly of MSC. As you said not much is covered about MSC and it is mine and Melana's favorite Cruise line. With that said we too have our own personal horror stories about MSC as a company or some of their business aspects. We have been on two MSC Ships so far, the Seaside, and the Seashore. Now we just wanna "collect them all" LoL One Question though, On your first sailing (The Youth Group), were you two "an item" even back then?

Yes! We are the same… let’s get on ALL the ships… it’s like a challenge now!!! 🤪 We were not an item at that time of that first cruise. In fact, it was a good two years before we were a “thing”.

Awesome, love MSC. We did the Seaview Yacht Club in the Mediterranean last year and absolutely loved it. All of the crew we interacted with were so nice. It's crazy how so many of the negative comments on line are separated from the reality we experienced. You guys are the best!

You guys are so fun to watch together, loved your cruise videos before, liking this podcast idea. I also love MSC, their value for your $ is beyond what any other cruise line offers. They goofed early on by misunderstanding the North American market, and most of the vloggers never forgave them or gave them another chance. Glad you can give them a good fair review both good and bad.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about my favorite cruise line! Admittedly, I've only been on three ships - MSC Seashore, Serenade of the Seas, and MSC Meravligia, and they've all been in the last three months. However, I liked that first cruise so much that I booked the Meraviglia trip while on the Seashore, and while on the Meravligia, I booked a third MSC cruise for late this year. The MSC cruise staffs from the two ships made me feel so welcome - OMG, so many hugs! The nightly parties were *incredible*. Serenade of the Seas just couldn't even come close. I don't remember mushrooms by any of the pools on the Seashore, though 😆

I’m excited for this! We love cruising, my wife has MS and we were hesitant to get back on a ship after the pandemic. We just started back this past year. We’ve cruised with Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Carribean, and in May we go on the Emerald Princess. I’m glad y’all will be focusing on MSC because I’ve been curious about that cruise line, but I’ve been hesitant to book because there’s not as much info and videos out there on MSC as there are the other major cruise lines.

Thank you for MSC Cruise Cast! It is definitely a niche that needs filled and you two are very well suited for it! We were looking for something special to do for our 30th anniversary in Sept. 2025 and decided that a cruise would be fun. After doing much research we decided we needed to go on a test cruise sooner so we booked a cruise on the Seascape in January of 2025. Well we are so bitten by the cruise bug that a couple of days ago we booked a cruise on the Divina for late March of this year! Your videos have been so helpful and now adding the Podcast to the mix takes that to the next lever, so than you very much!

We are on the seashore Sunday in the Yacht Club!! This is our 3rd MSC cruise in 1 year. Our first one was in March 2023 and we never turned back. We were Carnival Platuim before sailing our 1st MSC cruise.

I love you both and watch all your videos. Thank you for the comprehensive look at the Yacht Club recently. MSC is superior to any other cruise line, IMO. Unlike other publicly owned cruise companies, they don't have to continually prove anything to share holders. As their CEO says"We trust each other and can make ethical decisions quickly to satisfy our guests." Carnival and NCL do not do that in any way. Their business model is to give the least for the most money to continue to grow share prices. That's why Carnival still operates their two smallest ships that they do not maintain for exorbitant prices that should have been scrapped during covid. We sailed on the Carnival Paradise after covid and regretted it terribly. When we got back on the Meraviglia a few months later for the World Cup, the PTSD from Carnival finally started to fade. The memory of the stench of that ship was also washed away with the fabulous scent that fills MSC ships. I hope they make you both ambassadors someday. You've been a great representation of what the experience is like on MSC. Keep on cruising and having fun.

Love you guys! And, of course, we LOVE MSC!!! We have been on 11 sailings with them since 2016. 3 in the Yacht Club. We are on Magnifica in 8 days. We love them so much, my side gig is travel agent for them, exclusively. Love what you all are doing. Oh and tech note - Chris, we need better lighting for you, please!

First let say that my wife and I absolutely love you guys! We are pretty new to cruising but the few that we’ve done we have loved. Intrigued by the whole yacht club idea. Your videos on yacht club have been the most informative and well made of all the ones we’ve researched. I have a question. While researching pricing, I ran across a weird oddity on the MSC booking site. As I stated we want to do YC. We are in NYC so would be sailing on the Meraviglia. When I go on the site and pick the lowest fare, the next page (stateroom) options shows the YC option. I pick that and get a price for the inside stateroom which is the only option we would consider to keep it affordable. So here’s the rub. When I go back and choose the plus package with drinks and WiFi included and then choose YC in the next window the price is substantially higher (almost 500 bucks) this Makes no sense to me. After all we are getting the same interior YC package with all the perks by initially choosing the cheapest rate rather the the plus package. The only difference I see is that you get 100 onboard credit with the plus package. Am I missing something? Want to book soon but know that you guys would have the proper answer. What justifies the higher price when you ultimately get the same package.

Hey there… thanks for finding our little corner of the world. It is just a flaw in the booking process and pricing. There is no need to book anything other than “Best Rate” or “Cruise Only” rate and then in the next section choose YC Interior. All of the YC benefits will be yours once you book that room so no need to add the drink package or wifi. YC Interior rooms go quick so I would grab that one. We absolutely loved the Meraviglia and the YC so hoping you do too. Let us know if that answers your question. Happy to help any way we can.

My wife & I book a cruise with MSC for 2021. Customer service was terrible at best. 1st changed itinerary without notice. 2nd changed ship without any notice. Found out about these changes by accident. When we tried to verify our cabin we couldn't and they would not assign us a cabin even though we had a deposit for that cruise. If you were a new booking you could pick any cabin you wanted. Our travel couldn't book us cabin. MSC would not return any of the agents calls or emails. Our agent cancelled the cruise. Took over a month get our money refunded. Agent booked us on Royal cruise, no problem.

Have always said. MSC landslide operation is a mess. Seaside (YC) makes up for it. But they really need to overhaul landslide top to bottom. (Marketing, call center, voyager club etc).
