This is a pun: I believe the (logical) reason we circumambulate around the kaa'ba in 'concentric' circles is because Muslims are "theocentric" (which means God-centered). So, we're testifying that Allah is the centre of our attention, focus, love, devotion and worship. That God is the axis or pivot of our lives. At least, this is what I think. And Allah knows best.

As true Muslim a person should not kiss the stone. And when praying to kabaa direction before prayer tell Allah I'm praying to you and bowing down to you not kabaa. This is Iman. Even many Muslim Scholars will lack. I'm a new revert.

You should definitely kiss the stone, just because our Prophet s.a.w. did it, and that's it, so that Allah s.w.t be pleased with you. Following the Prophet s.a.w.'s deed is Sunnah and muslims should never skip it.
