In Malaysia, muslims are encouraged to bury our dead speedily to allow us to be reunited with our creator. However it depends on the wishes of the families who wanted to bring the body to their hometowns/states. My late brother was buried about 7 hours after his death as he was washed and shrouded at the government hospital mortuary, and the funeral prayers performed at the mortuary there before he was buried. Syukur alhamdulillah.

That the reason why I am afraid to travel to the Land of ahlul kitab due to the janaza.. Janaza is very important and death is unpredictable...

I believe a just reason for delay is for an Autopsy. It could be that somebody rushing to bury is one who caused the death. Peace ☝🏽

Majority of these graveyards have separate sections for deads belong to different religions. In a Christian country I have visited few cemeteries & saw myself. Hope this clarifies your doubt.

As it is with all discussions of things related to religious rituals & beliefs, this man's narrative doesn't make sense to (in this case) "infidels". For some (I don't know how many) Muslims, the speaker here might be saying interesting or even important things. For the rest of us, however, & especially for "infidels", atheists, & other non-believers, it's all nonsense. Prayers to invisible sky faeries have no effect on reality, only on the feelings of those who pray. Selfish people want everyone to wait for them b4 doing things. It's a personal problem, not a real-world problem. A waste of 8 minutes of my life. Not even interesting.
