Since it’s never too late, I can prune my tree now before it’s too late. It bloomed great and now the top little branches look dead. It’s almost 3 years old and I don’t want to lose my tree. Let’s hope the pruning helps! 😊

Thanks for the advice and information, my flowering cherry blossom doesn’t seem to be developing and has a lot of moss type cancar on the branches. I’m in Ireland so it could be climate damage as you explained. Have a great day.

cancer is not good for plants，may take nutrition away from the branches lead to rot and infection..

Mine grows more on one side than the other also. It's in a fairly protected area.

My weeping Cherry is probably 5 years old now and has cankers on trunk that I just noticed a week ago. I tried to cut them out but I think the bacterial infection is to the core, I fear I’m too late to save😫😭 Mine is way bigger than these so I thought it was mature enough I didn’t need to worry. Anything I can do?!?

2:45 stop and smell the roses. It is all part of the system. We need to enjoy some things. I have a cherry blossom tree in the front yard that ends in furry balls. It does nothing but look good. I am happy. I cut it back and next year cherry blossoms. I told my sister I have to trim my furry balls and sent her a pic of the tree. Those black currants that grow as a weed the bugs love them and the Queensland fig bird eats them so I let them go. They are also a sign for the tomatoes and potatoes as they are closely related.

Top dogs mate. My Brother's ones used to drag dead wallabies and kangas home. They were for pigs and would be able to do that too. Rabbits would be a walk in the park. Top dogs.

cherry tree can't bear too much water.original from China high altitude area，popular raised ，hybrid in japan. cherry tree prefer sunny and cold weather，too much water may lead to roots rot and die.can't live in sticky soil（may lock too much water）

when u first time planted，make sure cherry tree plant soil level is a little above the other area，shape a small hill ？it will help avoid too much water，use usual garden soil ，do not use fertilizer unless it's organic fermented.if weather is real hot in summer and don't have much rain，water the plant every day the amount will depends.

in summer ，the weather is hot and rainy，cherry tree will get sick and droop many Leaves. this summer，use plant bactericide，cherry can't suffer summer bacterium.won't be deadly dingerous，but leaves drop may cause less flower next year. and beside the weather 、soil、planted way 、water. some grafted cherry may bring roots bacterium，which may cause the whole tree dead…these kind may grow slower than normal one and die few years later…

You didn't plant this tree deep enough into the ground, It should not be that tall.
