Small part that was left out: Higuruma’s domain could still falsely accuse Nanami of a crime. Technically Yuji didn’t commit the mass-murder but Judgeman still accused him of it. I think Nanami is smart enough to see it and get through it though

Very good point, it would be a reverse of what happened with Yuji. The Judgeman was able to sentence Yuji to death only because Yuji pleaded guilty. So if Higuruma tried to falsely accuse Nanami, Nanami would avoid conviction not simply because he's smart but because he doesn't have the same baggage/regrets Yuji had.

Im pretty sure during Mahito arc Nanami confirmed he had killed people before (probably curse users) which would count as a murder. He may pull it off as self defense, but as he actively sought them out and attacked them it may be problematic. Remember that Higuruma judges people based off law, basically Jujutsu sorcerers are vigilante and not law officers so Nanami may even get a death penalty

Hanami more than likely wins more times than not. At the bare minimum they’re both relative to Yuji but the difference lies within Hanami’s durability. Hanami should be able to withstand constant blows from Nanami and his versatility could find many ways to put him down. Nanami’s best chance at victory is if his luck was godlike and he got like 5 black flashes and even then it most likely wouldn’t put Hanami down. I’d say 8/10 times it goes to Hanami who’d take the W, but if Nanami has god tier luck he could take it high-extreme dif.

I don't think that Deadly Sentencing just fizzles if Judgeman can't find a crime -- it presents a case either way, and if the defendant is inadequate in making their case then they get convicted. Certainly, it's easier for Nanami to defend himself if Judgeman can't find a good case to present, but it wouldn't just fizzle completely.

He could be caught in a technicality when he was still in his regular work, something like a white collar crime. But the most likely is that Nanami will be able to keep his technique. Hand to hand will be the next scenario. Do not forget that Higuruma fought a well rested post-shibuya Yuji. Yes, the now stronger version of Yuji that beat up a fully-evolved Mahito. How is that not a factor in it? You also have to give it to Higuruma for taking a hit from Yuji and standing up as if nothing happened. Dude must be durable as well (maybe curse energy reinforcement since the dude is a genius). Also, Nanami's CT can be countered by a strong curse energy reinforcement (remember Dagon?). But yes, Nanami will most likely win this one. Will it be a stomp? Not at all.

Literally everyone who encountered Yujj recognizes how physically strong and durable he is. So why would saying Yuji is physically amazing make someone immediately just weak physically? How will you explain that? Your best argument would be that no matter how physically strong you are, without enough curse energy Nanami's Curse Technique will work on you. Nanami by virtue of being a jujutsu sorcerer has committed multiple severe crimes, (please remember doing something bad ≠ crime) here are some: aggravated assault, mutilation, murder, breaking and entering, severe property damage, fraud/tax-evasion, endangering minors and likely many more. Of course there are many good reason as to why he has done those things and there are many good ways to defend himself against these accusations in court, however all only on the basis of „yes I did that but: with good reason/ I had to/ self-defense“ where his penalty might be reduced but he would still be found guilty in a court of law. And if Yujis cursed energy could be taken away due to entering a pachinko hall then nanami is not doing good. I think people often forget that all the characters are criminals like megumi for example is very much a murderer and so are most other characters.

If we went with early Higuruma, it's a stomp for Nanami. End story Higuruma though? He'd win, Domain Amplification can shut down Ratio/Collapse and he's noted to be good enough with it he can still deploy his Domain's Imbued Technique while Amplification is active just like Sukuna. He's fast enough to avoid some of Sukuna's attacks and tough enough to take punches from him without having his body pierced right through like Choso was meaning his basic stats are way higher than before, plus his RCT that's good enough to regenerate his hands in seconds? Nanami would need to land a one-shot fatal injury to win, but with Amplification shutting down his techniques, he'd need to use raw Overtime strength to do it or land an exceptionally well timed counter-blow, which is a difficult win condition (although it is possible, as Higuruma notes his weakness is his lack of combat experience, he may not be able to read a counterblow situation). There's something I think you guys left out Nanami did in fact neglect his jujutsu duties despite not being a "sorcerer" when he was working as a salary man when the curse was on the baker, he flat out ignored exercising it cuz he was trying to run away from his duties and that said curse could've killed her and her family despite being a low grade and possibly more people out there that had curses on them so Higgy could use confiscation on Nanami then
