THEORY: When momoshiki refers to Borutos blue eyes he’s talking about his outlook on life he means his naive nature and mentality on the world will play a role in his own self destruction. His perception of the world much like his father Naruto is slightly delusional in thinking he can save everyone and fix every situation, it will be his downfall. Remember when Sarada commented on Borutos eyes being even bluer than Naruto’s. Naruto by sticking to his nindo code his ninja way was able to go against the grain and beat all the odds no matter how impossible the situation simply by believing in himself, while to everyone else it was seemingly a simple way of thinking and naive they all grew to trust in his way because time and time again he proved them wrong(the conversation he and boruto had on top the hokage building is proof that Borutos ninja way is what his fathers was except he will take it further and make it his own). Garagas story of being too trusting in his summoner and best friend betraying him is very foretelling in the story. Naruto was determined to become hokage and never gave up on saving his best friend. Boruto goes out of his way to get involved in every situation and fix it. To save everyone. Even going out of his way to bridge together the older and newer gens of konoha in the episode about the fireworks, which was ultimately kakashis residual problems from his previous tenure as hokage. It started with him taking down momo. He refused to believe in the betrayal of his comrade mitsuki who seemingly betrayed the village, then befriending kawaki an enemy of the village and member of kara who time and time again shows an unwillingness to accept the ninja code and lifestyle(which will prolly play out as a bigger plot in the future), beating the snake sages challenges and making garaga his summoning, fighting ishiki who ragdolled his sensei and Naruto, saving and convincing ikada not to start a war even after helping taking down his sister and seeing how hate can change a person(also sacrificing himself to prove to that kid who’s father he killed as revenge for kagura that the cycle of hatred must end), almost dying against boro to save Naruto from ishikis dimension, and LITERALLY dying at the hands of kawaki to prove his resolve. Then he becomes bold and big headed enough to actually promise hinata he can come back and won’t die bcuz the worst that can happen has already happened, at which point momo reminds him of his prophecy which is rapidly approaching. “When you kill a god you cease to live a normal life”. Boruto probably thinks he can do anything and has the utmost confidence bcuz he has beat the odds so many times at such a young age that he probably doesn’t realize the stakes and severity of the situations he’s in, coupled with the fact that he’s NARUTOS son; the most irrationally confident person in the series up until this point. His blue eyes taking everything from him will most likely involve his own big headedness/error in judgment and overconfidence in his power and/or belief in the good in his friends(kinda like sasuke believing he can bare the hate of the world and change it by himself and rule over it after the 5th GNW). Whatever spectacle that happens that will take everything from him will probably drive him to do something irrational when he’s in too deep over his head like give over control to momo in an impossible situation. This will probably cause crippling depression and show Boruto a fate worse than death; being forced to live a life you have no control over whatsoever, watching everything that happens from a window in the basement of your consciousness while someone else is controlling your body impersonating you and living your life.

Naruto is not the most irrationally confident person in the series. He was always shown to hide his insecurities with a fake smile and talk a big game to put value in himself when no one else did. Even after the time skip he always fought an uphill battle and needed both Minato and Kushina to fully push him forward. He wasn’t irrationally confident, he just chose to not give in to despair and never give up cuz that’s his ninja way.

@@tbm8674 I can agree w that I think it was a bit of both. Up until the point he met his parents all he had was himself to bet on. He had to prove to everyone he wasn’t just a knucklehead that he was actually strong willed enough to make his dream of becoming hokage a reality. His ninja way to never give up was reinforced by meeting them at a point where he was about to lose control to kurama and abandon his ideals. So it wasn’t just confidence alone you’re right but the belief in him from the fourth hokage his father who believed Naruto could surpass him and his mother the previous 9 tail jinchuriki who more than anyone else understood what he was going through and how difficult it was to maintain control.

I don't know if my vote should count cuz I'm an admitted Naruto fan boy but in my humble opinion there's no question he's the top dog. Even without Baryon mode he's easily the most powerful, there's an argument that can be made that even without kurama he's the most powerful, as for accomplishments... No other kage, let alone hokage has been responsible for peace amongst the villages for as long Naruto's tenor. Yes it started before his tenor but he was directly responsible for it.

Alright so I gotta ask. During the Naruto retrieval arc, Borushiki harvests a lot of Kurama's Chakra since Boruto had nearly nothing left. This leaves some things to be pondered. 1. If Boruto regains control if his body absorbs Chakra then shouldn't he of been able to take over? 2. Doesn't that mean that Boruto still has some of the 9 tail Chakra? 3. If residual Chakra remains of a tailed beast but the original manifestation has been depleted can the residual birth the new 9 tails? Love the channel keep up the good work.

Another reason why I believe the ten tails will eat code. -we have never seen what happens if the otsusuki dies an the ten tails is left on the planet, there has to be a backup plan in case. -then tails could merge with code giving him the will of otsusuki which ishiki already influenced him taking. -with the otsusuki dieng there has to be a way reboot the clan. The otsusuki god wouldn’t jus allow his subjects to go extinct.

Gotta understand, even in Boruto, the peace is ONLY between the five major nations. There are still wars being fought on the continent and villages like the rain village refused to join the shinobi union Kakashi set up. Naruto only brought peace to the major villages, not the entire ninja world. That was never stated in the manga for Naruto. Only the five major nations. That being said, Naruto's fear is a real one and here's why....the kage of each village don't call the shots...the feudal lords do. They literally fund the villages. The kage answer to the feudal lords. Stuff like this is why Sasuke accused Naruto of not having an answer. Naruto still has work to do with the ninja system, in other novels Kakashi and Naruto acknowledge feudal lords are a problem for long term peace.

After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

It's not bullshit. If you read/watched the Sasuke Retsuden novel, then you would know that Orochimaru's time in the Redaku country influenced team 7 into finding the cure. Also the Retsuden trilogy takes place between the Mujina Bandits arc and the Ao arc. Naruto didn't even know Amado at the time.
