I was such a HUGE fan of the NWA when it first debuted. The "Into the Fire" days were something special. The pandemic screwed it up and it was never the same. But then when they finally came back it wasn't on KZbin anymore which really hurt them.

NWA has been around for a long time. WCW spawned from NWA Crockett Promotions. TNA started as NWA: Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. It goes back to the territory days of wrestling. It has an amazing history and it is sad to see it do bingo halls today.

AEW, the place where people would actually know his name vs now where he has to be a GM so people are more familiar with him before he wrestles and has no clout from beforehand with less leverage. He could've gone the Cody route, having been known through an AEW run then leaving to WWE with an already known name and could walk in for the audience to buy that he's a top talent. Would probably make much more, too because WWE would pay a premium to swoop someone from under AEW's nose like they did Jade Cargill.
@Wakamiaka97

@@imaratspalHe’s still getting paid a premium in wwe since he’s a prominent role on their biggest program. He’s also 37 and a veteran, I’m sure his body is appreciating the rest he’s getting while also getting paid to be on national television. He’ll be back in the ring wrestling in a safer work environment while getting paid more money to do so.

He will more then likely be back in the ring sometime this year and more then likely it will be against Reigns. You can kind of see the WWE building to that, through the exchanges between him and Reigns weekly on Smackdown. Once Reigns loses the title, he will blame Aldis for it, thus leading to a feud.
