His future hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Nico Williams potentially going to Barcelona is honestly a match made in heaven and him on the left and Lamine Yamal on the right, that’s their future in attack and hopefully he goes there this summer. If both of them were able to gel in the same system for the Spain national team at the EUROs, it’s clear that this partnership could work out at club level since they have a great connection with each other and both of them pose a threat to opposing defenders when they get the ball from out wide. He has been their top transfer target for weeks now and the day that he decides not to join their club is the day where their entire board is going to step down as he is their priority and a must need player for this team. In recent years, Barcelona haven’t had an elite left winger since Neymar and last season, there was a lack of quality in that position and it often left their attack isolated and most of the time on the right, Yamal was basically their only attacker trying to create something and was a source of positivity in the team and getting someone like Williams, he’s an upgrade on what they have in their attack. Not to mention that he’s the sort of player that they need to have on their team if they are to compete with a Real Madrid team that’s getting stronger and stronger as the gap between the 2 currently is absolutely staggering and they don’t want to fall behind even further. They have a guy who plays with a lot of energy and excitement because he’s so dangerous in 1v1 situations has a lot of versatility and his combination of explosiveness speed and skill is exactly what he’s going to bring to Barcelona’s attack assuming they sign him. With Yamal and Williams, there’s some hope that Ansu Fati returns to his best form, I just don’t see that happening for him at Barcelona with all of these injuries and even in a central role and they could do with a proper striker alongside these 2 skillful and creative wingers. He perfectly fits the age bracket with this team since he’s 21 years old and his ceiling is very high meaning that he’s going to be around for the next couple of years and he’s a player who’s going into his prime meaning that his game will be on another level in his peak years. It makes better sense to sign him over the likes of Rafael Leao or Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as on current form he’s better than both of them and he has a higher ceiling than those 2 and as good of a player Luis Diaz is and he’s in his prime, he’s 27 years old and Dani Olmo is a backup alternative for him, Barca fans aren’t too keen on signing him due to his injury history. We all know that his release clause is at 58 million and that’s an absolute steal if they sign him. It’s true that he was excellent at the EUROs which has allowed his price tag to skyrocket and every top club wants to sign him, La Liga fans who watch Athletic Bilbao week in week out will tell you that he’s a phenomenal player. If he decides to stay at Athletic Bilbao, that’s a massive blow for Barcelona and he needs to give the club the green light to sign him because he’s a perfect player for this team and he ticks all the boxes.

I'm losing faith in him coming . I think the club is manipulating his parents to convince him to stay. His parent work at the club . This is bad for him because she wont make a decision regarding improvement in his footballing career . Bilbao is a 5th and 6th place club and is not a chmapiona league club . .

You keep underestimating or even totally ignoring what he has at home in Bilbao, blinded by a couple of Tik Tok dance videos with summer camp bestie Lamine. Also, you seem to believe current Barca is as attractive a destination for young, promising players as it was a decade or two ago. Contrary to what you say, the move would be a step down in most respects.
