Nigahiga had one of the most successful careers in KZbin history, however, he hasn't uploaded a single video since April 2020. Why? This video will explore the disappearance of Ryan Higa, so we can understand why he very suddenly quit making youtube videos.
This is, Why Nigahiga Quit KZbin - A Full Explanation
Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, SunnyV2
Also, the idea for this video was inspired by sirsurgenor who posted a video on a similar topic in September 2022 titled "Why nigahiga Quit KZbin" You can watch their version here - • Why nigahiga Quit KZbin

Ryan was and forever will have a special place in my life. He pretty much shaped my entire teenage life. Everytime life would get overwhelming I'd immediately just go to his channel and rewatch his older videos. He was the only influencer/youtuber/celebrity I adored so much that I went as far as actually getting his merch just so that I could support him. It's been 6 years and not once have I taken off his iconic "teehee" wristband. As heartbroken as I was when I heard he quit KZbin, I'm so glad that he prioritized his mental health and wellbeing and took this break. I never watched him, but he is a staple and an icon in KZbin and internet history. He’s been here since the start ad had a huge impact on the culture. Everyone loves dude, and I hope he finds purpose (because it seems like he’s kinda lost with where to take his life since he already made it huge). Prime example of how money and success doesn’t bring happiness. You need to be content with who you are and stay true to your values. Be open and try to connect with people. Keep yourself busy with different types of work or activities with different people around you to offer perspectives. These are the things that bring joy. Not saying he didn’t do that, but just speaking in general. Do what you wanna do in life. Don’t fall into a trap of a dreadful routine.

I just hope he's doing better without feeling the pressure of feeling forced to do something he no longer enjoys. The mental battles someone face has nothing to do with their status or wealth, rich or poor life can beat you to the ground and keep you there. It wasn't hard to see from these clips that he's been through enough. I think it hit me extra hard to see someone I grew up watching and been such an inspiration put words to things I can relate so strongly to despite being entirely different from him. I'm just a normal guy with a beautiful girlfriend and a baby that is due in 2 weeks, but I've also struggled with mental health issues for over a decade and just woke up now and watched this video after another night of intense nightmares. Man, I remember watching him in the very early days of KZbin before all the drama and greed came into play on the site. He was truly the purest soul and has remained so throughout all the years since. He has never been involved in controversy, never made his channel more than he wanted or could make it to be, and stayed true to his style of content until the end.

It's sad seeing all the "og" youtubers get so burnt out and leaving since guys like Ryan were my childhood - early adult years. It was incredible to see Ryan Higa's videos go from grainy "How to be" videos to the crazy high production of stop motion and "movie trailers" over the years, on top of the more chill behind the scenes and Dare videos over the years. I'm glad he managed to get out on a high note and seems to be content with streaming now. I do hope he makes a come back one day but if he doesn't, I hope he's happy whatever he's doing.

He left perfectly imo, his videos were consistently brilliant, he never "fell off" or "changed up his content" like other youtubers, he just consistently made fantastic videos that are still fantastic to watch today, until finally just quietly leaving. and I don't have an issue with that.

Just started watching your channel Sunny. I like your reporting format; digestible but enough contents with citable facts (as in information can be easily checked across different sources). Please keep this up. P.S., Ryan's videos were really good and fun, I've always enjoyed the skits and the collaboration. I don't like KZbinrs these days or enriched media in general, but I still find myself watching his older contents here and there.

Simple reason. Ryan grew up. He was and IS a great KZbinr. If he comes back, great! But we still have all his old, great videos there. Whatever he does, I wish him happiness. If being a KZbinr didn't make him happy, then that's not what I want for him, even if it would make ME happy. Be happy, Ryan! You do you! XOXO

Didn’t know this guy or channel.. he seems genuine. I can imagine what a decade of making videos and watching yourself back does to you. There’s so much to do in the world that beats seating in front of a PC screen. Everyone needs variety in life. Moneys a huge positive I guess and can remove certain problems… but it creates plenty of others. Wish the guy all the best

He didn't quit KZbin. He simply changed his style and started posting more on his second channel HigaTV where he still posts consistently once/twice a week... Not trying to call you out, just a friendly reminder to do a little more research before posting. It's not exactly a small channel, it has over 4 million subscribers.
