Thanks Nan for more insight into the world of why no processed foods. Some companies are doing better at trying to make their processed foods healthier but they ruin them by adding bad fats. Your little fur baby is cute, it was his lucky day when he or she got to come live with you ! 😀 🌻🥰🌻

Congratulations Nan on your health results and for the new addition in your home, sweet kitty. Thank you for the processed food details that reminds us of all why we must eat as much raw greens as we can take in every day. But you are soooo correct. Eating raw food is not comforting as cooked/baked mac n cheese. And those tortilla chips, guess who has a bag in the pantry for nachos lol

Thanks for your content. From what I understand there are 3 protocols; Hyper Nurishing (HN), Goodbye Lupus Protocol (GLP), and Goodbye Autoimmune Protocol (GAIP). The Rapid Recovery is the 6 week group or 4 week individual daily supported program. Just to help clarify. Thanks again. And enjoy the group starting next January!

Hi Alicia, thank you! I’ve studied nutrition for years. In addition, I have all of Dr G’s books, took her ‘6steps to reversing inflammatory disease with supermarket food’, and I’ve listened to more than 40 of her Wednesday Q & A sessions. I listen while I exercise, garden, and do other. I’m so glad it’s helpful. 🌻🥰🌻

I appreciate your updates on dr g. I have had an appointment w/ her & my friend just completed her last RR. We both have been told that the raw protocol starts with at least 24oz dark greens/cruciferous & other veggies are allowed as much as you'd like. Thank you for your videos. ❤
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Hi Leah, Thank you for sharing. When she spoke at the recent National Plant Based Healthcare Conference she shared 16 oz of raw deep greens and cruciferous vegetables was the base to which other vegetables and fruit was added. I’ve also heard that numerous times in her videos and her 6 Steps to Disease Reversal Using Supermarket Foods classes. Hmm, I wonder if this is new. That is quite a change. I would certainly like clarification if you speak to her. 🌻🥰🌻
@leahw6354Ай бұрын
@NanSimonsen HN starts at 16oz but for healing I was instructed to start w/ at least 1.5 lbs in March of 2023 (I'd already been doing HN w/ 16oz & plantbased for a few years). I progressively increased to 2lbs. As I mentioned, my friend just finished RR. When you're working with her, they'll progressively increase your intake. My girlfriend ate even more cruciferous (she says she's a big eater) & chia and flaxseeds than the half a cup.

Good to know Leah. Thanks for the clarification🌻🥰🌻

Thank you for sharing this. I did the strict protocol on my own for about a month and I definitely ate moe than a pound because I needed to to feel full! I used 1 pound in the smoothies and ate the rest as a salad.

The Goodbye Lupus protocol is the basic nutritional protocol, Goodbye, auto immune, includes emotional and psychological issues. So basically, unless you’re working with her, which includes the psychological work, the Goodbye Lupus protocol is what you would be working with. 🌻🥰🌻

I wouldn't say that smoothies are delicious. However, they have amazing benefits. I consider them medicine that keeps pain and illness at bay. You can make a plant-based cat food with the addition of Vegecat. I have done this for my dogs. And I also give the dogs green smoothies.
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Thanks for your thoughts Suzy. I actually look forward to my morning smoothie. I enjoyed it a lot. If it’s not really your cuppa tea, then my hats off to you for being diligent enough to have it on a daily basis. So smart of you! 🌻🥰🌻

I was just wondering Is the water in the smoothie considered part of the 96 oz you drink a day???
@imaniwilson1848Ай бұрын
I have heard Dr. G say on many occasions that the water in your smoothie DOES count toward your daily water goal. 👍🏽
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Yes Mary, it does. I typically add 44 oz (sometimes more) to my 1 pound of greens, my seeds, and my fruit. The finished smoothie is then well over 80 oz, and the water portion counts for the days goal👏. 🌻🥰🌻

If u season the steamed broccoli with ground mustard it give u back the enzyme needed to make sulforaphane- which gets lost when cooking the broccoli 🥦. See Dr. Jed Fahey on this. 👍🥦💜🌸
@imaniwilson1848Ай бұрын
Thanks for that interesting tip! While I love steamed broccoli, I have a really hard time eating/digesting it raw.
@NanSimonsenАй бұрын
Thanks for your interest in this kardste, and I appreciate your connecting. Myrosinase is the enzyme that you are referring to. And yes, some of the lost sulforaphane is recovered, but raw broccoli is still nutritionally superior, though many people prefer it cooked.🌻🥰🌻

@@NanSimonsen Oh I'm so glad you don't have to wait a whole week. I'm on pins and needles waiting to find out. I started doing kale smoothies 3 days ago because I felt lousy and I don't eat much animal protein 2 oz a week and I am phasing it out little by little but the smoothies alone are curbing the appetite and I have now cut it turkey to 1 oz I will also eat some lightly steamed veggies because I have been to Hippocrates and did raw for 3 solid weeks and felt horrible. I think Hippocrates is a great place but don't agree with the no fruit unless you have a terminal condition and did see miracles happen will several people. Even they said I would do better with a small amount of steamed veggies in the evening and was also given a small amount of ancient scalar salt to help with my low energy. I may take a bit longer to heal but that's ok with the added small amount of fruit and the small amount of steamed veggies I believe I can do this.
