I came across 2 of your recipes by accident but when I went to your site I found your video titles don't say what recipe you are making. This would be most helpful in searching thru your site. Love the 2 recipes I found and can't wait to try them.

Thank you both so much for answering my question about the Breville oven. I do indeed have laminate not stone on my counters so I was worried about it getting too hot and causing a fire. I love your channel! Hope you both have a safe and blessed week!😊💕

You are good at explaining your plant based lifestyle. I think you and your husband should speak to kids at libraries and schools to get them thinking early in life about healthy food choices. Thanks, like your video!

I missed the Live Stream but watched it later. Thank you so much - such good information. I’m just really beginning this starch solution journey. I wanted to say, Tami, that so much of what you say resonates with me. I am very sensitive to sugar and processed flour. I battled this for years....and binged for years. I do so much better now when I just stay away from sugar and any processed flour.

We are birds of a feather! Moderation of certain foods is a myth for some of us. The good thing is once we figure it out we no longer have to torture ourselves by repeatedly trying to moderate foods that are impossible for us to moderate. We are set free!

Thank you for all your advice. I have been WFPB SOS free for about 4 years now. I live in the UK but have to use the internet for inspiration as everyone I know thinks I am crazy., but I know it works for me. The UK seems to follow everything the US does, so our addiction to sugar is increasing ! Really hard to find puddings/desserts which are not horrifically sweet. I usually have fruit but just occasionally want a second course. I avoid all sugar substitutes & my ‘sweet tooth’ has definitely reduced drastically, but any ideas please ?

Reducing/eliminating SOS was hard, but slowly, my taste buds changed. However, having said that, my husband who studies a lot of data behind how the body functions, highly recommends that I consume scant amounts of iodized salt, simply because he knows the importance of iodine in the body. For my overall health, he worries that I may cause unwanted symptoms if I were to eliminate iodized salt completely. So, when feel the need to add salt in my seasonings, I will follow his suggestion. Now that I don't consume processed foods, breads, and snacks, I will err on the side of caution, especially when it comes to brain health, now that we're almost 70. Brain health is always important, but more so as we age. He's not plant-based, but after watching me transition; lose weight; sees I feel better, and have more energy, he's accepted that I'll never go back to meat/dairy/oil/sugar/etc. He's always been about moderation on everything and doesn't like extremism, so he cautions me on anything that he feels might be harmful to my heart and brain health. After all, we want to be around for each other as long as possible. My only wish is that he'll continue to see the overall benefits plant-based has provided me, and become more apt to join me. He's seen my numbers drop when I got my blood work done at my last physical, and he was very impressed. So, I'm hopeful. When we find our soulmate, we want only the best for them. Thanks for a great video.

So can I use Italian dressing from the grocery store?
@NutmegNotebook3 жыл бұрын
All prepared salad dressings at the grocery store are going to have all or some oil, sugar and salt. You need to make your own salad dressings. I have recipes for A Creamy Balsamic, Ranch dressing and Caesar dressing on my blog and videos here on KZbin. You can purchase sat, oil and sugar free dressings from Well Your World. Here is our affiliate link: wellyourworld.com/nutmeg You can use vinegars, lime juice, lemon juice, and sos free salsa on your salads too. Hope this helps.
