The North Pole is located on a huge glacier called the Arctic. At that, there is no such continent on maps and globes at all. That's because there is no dry land here. There is no continent under the ice at the North Pole, but there are floating ice and ice holes. By law, the glacier does not belong to any state. It is surrounded by five countries, but it is no-one’s property. All participants of the five countries have the right to conduct research here, send expeditions, they should not interfere with passage of ships, aircrafts or laying of pipelines of other participants.
