I love that example with the tag on the dress because sometimes feedback is not just behavioural. The emotional part is such a good one as well 👏

Very valid points. Another point could be someone who has an unwelcoming demeanour. They are nice and welcoming but rarely smile or appear welcoming, sometimes leading to untrue assumptions of character.

Absolutely loved all the points Ma'am. I am definitely working on not being defensive with feedback. However, as we work to be more receptive of feedback, does the mode of delivery matter? Can a feedback be needed but then the value of the feedback lost because of how it was given?

Absolutely! delivery matters especially when we are in control of it… but I’ve also learnt humility of heart means taking in the needful regardless of how it was delivered. If a mad man tells you your shoes have poo on them, will you ignore because he’s a mad man, or you’d first check your shoes?

Thank you Mama Ari. I truly appreciate this. I would be self reflecting my actions as well.
