In UK hardly take more than 2 3 weeks in the same time, but still you can manage to do it. In Bulgaria one friend had 1 week unpaid holiday for summer vacation and that's it no extras like paid holidays and ect. If you dont work you are not paid 😱

Well in the UK you can certainly do 2 weeks in a row of holidays 😉 You also have a crazy amount of paid sick leaves 😁 don’t quote me on it, I never took those, but I’ve heard lots of people are talking holidays and then a sick leave right away 😁

It's 5 weeks holiday not 6, you get 6 weeks when you are over the age of 60.

Pluss christmas and easter and other holidays. So for a lot of us it is more than six weeks

In the U.S. you’re lucky if you get 2 weeks off, in some jobs, you might get only 5 days of vacation and 2 sick days. Healthcare for one person is about $600 a month, and at least in Los Angeles, rent for a livable 1 bedroom will cost you $3000 minimum, but most places are $3,500 and up. Making $5000 a month is not just standard, it’s a requirement just to survive. Ideally, you want to take in at least $10,000 per month (after taxes, Social Security & Medicare) to be comfortable and be able to set aside money for retirement.

Sorry, but there is more:there is a 'vacation ' culture: If Norwegians can take 1day off to combine it with our holidays, we do it. On Easter time, for example, it is common to take 3days off(Monday to Wednesday) , we have Tuesday to Monday our Easter holiday and if you go already on Friday before, you have 1.5 weeks of. Its similar at christmas, often we take vacation days between christmas and New Years, so we have 1week😀

@@AnnaGoldmanGlobal you cannot move to norway without finding a work. You can go to school, but you have to leave if you don't find work after school. If you marry, it's possible. It is no other way.

You guys only see this "good" thing (money), but you have to know that if you cant speak Norwegian you will be ignored a lot of the times. You will also experience a lot of micro-discrimination in the country, especially if your name or your outlook is not Norwegian/ European.
