@VaughnJogVlog4 күн бұрын
Heroes making dumb choices is an artificial way to elongate a story. They should be looking for Orlok. They even have an address, but instead they wait around for the hell of it. By the end of it seems the professor was playing with everyone, using them to see what the vampire could do. Real heroic.
@16JPE3 күн бұрын
@ I don’t think the characters had knowledge of orlok being a vampire, prior to him wreaking havoc on the town. Correct me if I’m wrong on that. I wasn't disappointed, but I agree it wasn't a best movie as some critics saying... Pros: *good production: costumes, set design, thousand trained rats, everything was top notch; *good cinematography *plot (movie is a remake of 1924 Dracula ripoff, so yeah - you cannot go more classic) *good ambiance Cons: *bad cut, unnecessary jumpscares *sometimes acting is over the top, sometimes it's underplaying, inconsistent overall; *dialogue... eh? *for some reason, soundtrack wasn't as captivating as it should be, was pretty generic; *plot holes (we blame 1924 movie, but) *it's slow, but not good, captivating slow... 6/10 maybe 7/10 because I really liked set design, they literally build old European style towns and unleashed thousands of rats...

He literally just says he can prove that the film is objectively bad, then proceeds to give the plot in a passive aggressive manner acting as if every facet is bad without giving reasons for his stances. He keeps making references to other characters the actors play in other films in a pathetic attempt to try woo the viewer into believing that he is giving a high-minded critique rather than a series of complete non-sequiturs. He claims the film is pretentious, while giving the most stuffy, arrogant, & contrarian rant and makes pointless jabs at the acting, and he doesn’t bother to specify what was so wrong with the performances. He has the right to have his own opinion, however, from what I can tell, he either has brain rot or he is making a cringe, counterculture review for the views. My guess is the later.
