Thank you, Kari, for the info! It's very educational. My husband and I are going to be placed in burial urns (the same design as my recently passed FIL, and my other MIL had chosen. They're really nice!) along with the plastic with velvet pouches of our beloved fur babies prior to being sealed. We've even got it worked out which fur baby is going into which burial urn. Unfortunately, their lovely pet style mahogany boxes won't fit but, we don't care. We just don't want them thrown out by our surviving relatives.

Wow Kari! I had no idea about this, but it makes perfect sense regarding the sodium level. I do know that much sodium would kill living plants, trees, etc., as I looked up how to make a natural weed killer, and one of the main ingredients was salt! It definitely worked! 👍 Thank you for educating us about this! 🥰

My husband and I want our ashes spread atop of my parents graves with a small foot stone style marker for each of us at my parents feet with names, dates, & "Cremated Remains of " me and him on the stones.

But is this why their is special steps on the burial of cremated remains or why it can only be spread in certain places?

Kari, this Video of yours reminded me of a question I need to ask. I was in Vietnam once and riding a bicycle on a road adjacent to a Cemetary with huge Tamarind trees. The ripened fruits are sweet to eat and usually these trees grow in Cemeteries and they are hundreds of years old. That's what I was told by some children playing in the vicinity, and they offered me some of the Tamarind fruit to eat. So while eating them I wondered whether it's ok to eat fruits from trees that grow and thrive on decomposing human corpses. What do you think Kari? Would like to hear from others as well. Thanks
@spiritmatter1553 Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t want to eat them, but I’m weird. Historically people have refused to eat animals that fed on human bodies.

I don't see why not. Are his cremains in a container of sorts? My husband and I are getting cremated, and the bags (plastic inside a velvet pouch) of our late fur babies are going to be placed inside our burial urns before they're sealed. This way, when we die our beloved fur babies' cremains won't be tossed out by our surviving family members. We have lovely mahogany boxes with their cremains inside but, I doubt the boxes themselves will fit inside the urns we've already chosen. Sorry for the TMI but, I really don't think there would be an issue placing your Dad's cremains inside your Mom's casket. Forgive me for not saying this sooner, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope they both lived good, long lives.😘🙏💖

@badkitty49222 жыл бұрын
@@jamesdcaldeira I did watch it in full but, putting sealed cremains inside another loved one's casket isn't out of the ordinary. As long as the cremains are sealed in a container, they're not going to have any greater affect than the deceased being buried in a casket. If that's what you're worried about.

Your title says bury. I live adjacent to a cemetery. They do burials of caskets aNd cremated remains. They do not allow scattering of ashes. However, they do bury and charge a hefty price for burial of cremains. The cemetery is loaded with trees, bushes plants. An area for cremains and one cremain and casket per private plot. Eventwo cremains per plot. So yes trees and bushes can thrive in those locations. The garage can barely keep up with disposal of organic material. It takes hours and days to mow the lawns and trim the trees and they've hired a special service to handle the volume. While the garage buries both types.
