I'm not worried about 778g+ processor... 778 is more than capable for an average user even casual gamers... I'm more worried about the camera quality of nothing phone 1. There's literally nothing the company leaking about the camera quality and detailed specs not the youtubers and that's a red flag... In my opinion if this phone wants to compete with phones like iqoo , poco F4 and samsung A series phones they have the had good cameras... Because others are giving 8 series processors and samsung has its immense brand value... Nothing will not be able to compete with just design in 30k segment...as others are giving a 8 series processor..

I used Pixel 5 that had Snapdragon 765g processor. That phone worked really great and fast for me. But I don't play games on it. Similarly, Nothing phone 1 can use a stable processor like 778+G. I owned a OnePlus One phone that had a Snapdragon 801 processor, which was a power hungry and unstable processor. I was very unhappy with battery optimisation of OnePlus 1. 778G+ is a good move, which will click.

They could have been also gone with snapdragon 865 which was used in Samsung S20 FE and I have one in my house, this processor is just amazing and easily beats 778G+ so in that case it also looks nice that it's a 8 series processor. Samsung has really done a good job with this processor.

Everything will depend on what price they will launch in India. First sale price must be around 25k + freebies or their product and above till max 30k will be hit. 30k or above for 778+ & 4.5k battery phone won't be that great as none battery lasts more than 1k cycle ,means roughly 3 years. So it won't be a great deal looking at other options available. Now a days, before upcoming recession period ,prices might get low ,who knows. So nothing phone 1 must have to set a bar with highly aggro price... Cheers!
