Only reason is QUALITY issues. By and large substandard material is supplied. Local grocery stores are proving better. These stores can sustain only when they guaranty quality at value for money principle. We buy only trusting the claims on the website. Transparency is the need of the hour.

ekdam sahi. main Bigbasket, Blinkit ( pahele Grofers thaa) aur bhi kuch is tarah ke apps se pahele din se hi bahot kuch kharidta thaa, aur aj bhi kharidta hoon. Quality itna ghatitya dete hain ye log....premium quality ka fruits, vegetables bolke chemical se grown kiya huya adha kacche, pakke fruits, veges dete hai....aur taste to bare mein kuch na hi kahe to achcha hoga. Raw meats, fishes ka bhi quality itna ghatiya hai. customer care pe bol bolke thaak chuka hoon, itne salo se koi steps nahi liya .

Bhai big basket is there since 2013 . By 2015-16 toh they were present in cities like Patna. While ur mentioning Big Basket started its business in 2018 . Even on KZbin u can see the 2014 ads of big basket featuring shah rukh Khan

The main reason, huge Operating Cost for Online delivery set up. Online companies took very marginal profit from product. Local Grocery Shop are highly expensive now a days. Big Busket, Jio Mart , Flipkart grocery business model is perfect for Indian Consumer. Direct Production to Consumer. Example: 1 L fortune Masterd oil Local retail shop Rs 175/- where as Jio Mart/ Flipkart Rs 165/- Now the question is Rs 175/- LTR masterd oil price justified. We know Inflation rate high cost of production high.

The reason I don't buy groceries online is because the quality of online groceries is lesser than offline groceries🤮. I ordered from Amazon, Swiggy and Zomato (Swiggy and Zomato were also selling groceries during the lockdown) but I was always disappointed with the taste of the product🤢. So I find it better to go offline shop to buy groceries.😪

One more reason of failing grocery startup is they scale their startup to every city and they burn investor's funding to aquare customer but they forget it customer is not their property, customer always want special discount and service and if you don't fulfill than they shift to other option so i suggest any startup please start small and made profitable than scale up yourself. 😊

Well the truth is that big fishes of online grocery shopping gonna first kill small grocery stores in our neighborhood even if they have to take the loss for few years they are ready for it with a plan and then they gonna do what they want to do with the prices once we get used to it ,like gio plans and wallmart here in uSA ,people don't like wallmart and always talk shit about it but still go there for shopping,same in India ,most of the people even talk shit about online shopping but still support them by shopping from them , nothing can be done as it's too late because big fishes are big because of us

ये online का काम गलत है , क्योंकि जब कोई मार्किट जाता है तो वह 1 दुकान ki जगह दूसरी दुकान से भी सामान खरीद ता है है, और लोगों को भी रोजगार उपलब्ध होता है , जैसे कि वह मार्केट गया तो रिक्शा , ऑटो ,से जाएगा और दुकान पर भी 5/7 लोग काम करते हैं उनका भी परिवार चलता रहेगा , online में कुछ लोगों तक ही रोजगार उपलब्ध होता है
