Fun fact: If you completed most of the objectives (but not all) you can just focus on the one objective when you replay the mission and it will count as gold

I got this on the PS3. It's tedious, but I got it when I learned you don't have to get gold in every objective for a mission *on the same attempt.* Say a mission had four objectives, and you got gold in two of them on one attempt, you could save the game and then replay the mission, this time getting gold in the other two objectives, and it would add up to gold overall for the mission. I don't know if this was the case for all versions

When I got this achievement I had so much trouble but it was so much fun. I didnt realize strangers and freaks counted at the time so it really was a headache for some missions

I just did it for my platinum trophy and to be honest its fairly easy to do. I think the "worst" part is, that you dont know what is a requirement for a mission before you do them. But when you know objectives, second time is often enough to get gold.

Too many gold objectives require being completed in a certain time limit. Some of these times are very tight and frustrating. I'll never understand why RSG didn't remove the time it takes for viewing cutscenes in these missions. I did get the trophy on the original version but couldn't be bothered to earn it again on the PS4 or PS5 version.

The funny part being that this trophy itself really isn’t hard at all. You only need a little over half the total medals available, can pick and choose which you do and especially when the objectives stack through replays allowing you to focus on one at a time if needed until they’re done. It’s just that the vast majority of GTA5 players probably don’t ever bother replaying missions or even finishing the story in general compared to messing around in online, so it becomes ultra rare by default.

Pro tip: you can avoid hitting the aliens by going around the studio. You don't have to strictly follow Lamar, as long as you catch up with him at the Vespucci police station

0:55 That's so cap, best way to get this achievement is to immediately restart mission after you done it while you go through story, so you have it still fresh in your mind, not to do all missions and then complete them from the start again with this method it's extremely easy and I don't get why so few people have this achievement

Man I remember golding all the main missions, the long shootout ones and heists were the worst, because you usually had to get out with a good accuracy and speed. I usually just did each goal separately so I could focus on finishing fast and then shooting accuracy.

I actually just got this trophy today lol the strangers and freaks missions helped a lot. I wasn’t even trying and I realized I had like 40 something so I said screw it and went for it. Felt pretty good when it popped although it popped for me after finishing the 69th gold medal.

GTA 5 was easier to get this trophy. RDR2 Gold Rush on other hand is much harder and annoying. Requires to complete objectives all in 1 unlike in GTA 5 that you can checkmark the rest of them in replay (just like in TBOGT).

I’m ashamed to say that I’ve earned every achievement for Gta 5 on Xbox 360, did all the story mode achievements on Xbox one and got the achievements instantly again for transferring the save to series X so that doesn’t really count, but platinum as well on ps4 and another time for ps5 because I transferred the save too early before I did and finished all the trophies on ps4, I’ve had my fun with gta 5 but it’s a lot of work to 100% the story 💀 I only need 4 more which I will never do that are doomsday elite challenges and unlocking all special characters from story and some other one that I forgot about.
