Funnily enough „k“ is my favourite letter it’s also fine -c- koolest letter in the entire alphabet. 8:46 magnetic fields are really expensive nowadays. I remember when they were a steal.

imagine this plot: an alien civilization developed on a planet orbiting an F-class star at the moment when the star began to turn into a red giant, and on this planet the temperature rises by one degree every 100 years. And when civilization develops well enough, all intelligent beings on this planet realize that they will turn into steaks in 1000 years

The Sun will last until 8 BYFN in red giant phase, but only up to 5 BYFN in main sequence (and 5-7 BYFN in subgiant phase), correct? Tons of other channels that do solar system timelines had their videos say that, Algol and MrPlasma being two of them.

What I think for a star for life is a k type star due to being less prone to solar flares compared to M type stars while being a star type that second longest life span compared to other star types.

It's crazy how big our universe can be. You thought our solar system was big? Well there's whole stars bigger than that. It makes us feel very small. Space is scary but also extremely fascinating to me. Whole other worlds beyond our comprehension out there. It feels like anything would could think of is at least out there somewhere.

F type produce 100 times more UV radiation than the Sun like stars so those living beings on those theorical habitable enough planets should have their planets have much thicker Ozone and a several folds stronger Magnetic field assuming that Earth like world would have a massive enough Moon or the Core would cooled down much Eariler like Mars

In principle, it is possible to extend the Sun's lifespan via "starlifting", in this case removing hydrogen from Sun, perhaps siphoning it off to be used elsewhere.

Pulling alot of exterior hydrogen is unavoidable during “starlifting” but the goal is actually to separate out the heavier elements and then return just the hydrogen back to the star at a controlled rate.

If we're looking for extraterrestrial life then K star systems it is. But Humans are probably better off with G star systems if we're looking for potential places to settle in. Again, shorter lives but billions of years is still pretty long. Though K star system aren't that bad too.
