Hello from Miami Florida, would be nice to see the process of how the mechanic moved the fork out of gear via the inspection cover. My 915 is stuck in reverse.

You have to disconnect the shifter coupler in the tunnel at the back inside the car between the 2 front seats. Sometimes you have to also loosen the shifter it's self to make sure it is disconnected. This then frees up the mechanism. Then with the car on a hoist and the inspection plate open its a matter of brut force with a large screwdriver or bar to push the selector back into the correct position. Hope that helps. You can't do it with everything connected as it will be too tight. Loosen it all up and then give it a little muscle. Hope that helps.

@@OutlawGarage Thanks for your quick response, my trans is stuck in reverse, with inspection cover off I thought you can only see and get to 1&2 and 3&4th planes. Will I see the 5th and reverse shift fork?
