I get where you coming from , When my parents passed, I didn't want there home, which was were I had grew up, there were good memories but also too many bad memories, I let it go and it was sold.

This must bring back great memories growing up in that house. Sadly my childhood home was torn down, actually the whole block was cleared to make way for a medical center and parking. My parents and my older brother are gone now and I still have dreams of the place every now and then but you never forget the good and bad memories.

I dident have to deal with my child hood home thank god they sold it when they hit their late 80s .the dam thing was 14000 sq ft and I sure dident want it way to much up keep. I have 5000 sq ft and that is plenty to deal with . sorry for your loss

Man I couldn't imagine trying to manage 5k sqft, much less 14k! lol When we settle back down on some land we are thinking real small. We've really gotten used to the life style of "Less is more" Thanks for the comment!
