As always, the in depth explanation! ***VIDEO 4 - Inazuma Eleven 3's meta*** The gameplay is precisely the same as before but with a few tweaks due to new features being added. Namely being Tactics, Items and Shot Chains. So I will cover what has changed from IE 2, so watch the IE 2 video first before this one. **Skills** This was a pretty big segment from the IE 2 meta due to the amount of skills needed to be explained. Fortunately, all we need to look at here is 2 skills: Power Element - This was in IE 2 however it has been buffed to a x1.5 multiplier. It activates when the user’s element has the advantage over the opponent’s element. Put Your Back Into It! - A new skill added into IE 3, it increases the power of your special moves by x1.25 at the cost of an increased FP usage. Essentially Big Moves! for FP. Because Power Element was buffed so much, some players with it could shoot from halfway across the pitch and score on the GK 100% of the time. However this isn’t banned as Shot Blockers are a thing. Here is a list of some of the best users in IE 3: Big Moves! - Hidetoshi Nakata Put Your Back Into It! - Bash Lancer Power Element - Gustav Weathervane Charm Up! - Riku Matsushita Never Give Up! - Azzurro Zaffiro Everyone Move It! - Mary Antoine Defence Plus - Gocker Defence Force - Bobby Shearer(IE 3 Version) Offence Plus - Brenda Firequest Offence Force - Malphas Shoot Plus - Virginia Goldstein Shot Force - Byron Love(Both) Speed Plus - Gail Ellement Speed Force - Nenel One thing to note: There is one player called Jim Bunner who has all 4 Force skills, making him technically the best player in the game as he gives your whole team a 5% buff in all areas. He lifts a lot of the burden of building your team if you include him in. **Special Moves** Unlike IE 2, there is more move variety. So you don’t have to worry about Large Build players etc. except for High Voltage that is. GK - Soul Hand(Fire), High Voltage(Air), Fiend Hand(Wood), Omega Hand(Earth) SB - Shooting Star(Fire), Vac Attack(Air), Diabolical Cut(Wood), Ground Quake/The Mountain(Earth) DF - Mad Express(Fire), Hurricane Arrows(Air), Sigma Zone(Wood), Bamboo Pattern(Earth) OF - The Ikaros(Fire), Air Ride(Air), Field of Force(Wood), Triple Dash(Earth) SH - Big Bang(Fire), Cross Fire(Air), Chaos Break(Wood), Jet Stream(Earth) **Shot Chain Cancelling** Shot chains in the base game of IE 3 is a very poor feature, however they can come into use in the meta. If a player shoots and a player in front has a chain shot, they can click the “cancel shot chain” button even if they are offside. What this does is make the opponent unable to shot block at all, leading to a goal. However this is not the easiest thing to pull off. Shot Chain cancelling and Power Element in effect can be shown at 2:53 in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5mVoXubp9yWiqM **Items** Since IE 3 has a very low max TP stat of 135 on average, it is common to see 15 minute halves for matches rather than the normal 30 minute halves as well as Fine Veggies being used to restore a player’s FP and TP to the max. Nakata with his 91 TP Brave Shot is a good example of this. **Tactics** While tactics are banned 99% of the time, if they are used then circular drive is the go-to tactic to guarantee yourself a goal. Other tactics are also broken such as Rolling Thunder. **What a team looks like** IE 3 in my opinion is definitively the most broken and unbalanced meta that can’t really ban much because everything is locked as a player’s natural moveset. All you need to do is just run Dark Emperors Feldt in goal with Walter Mountain, Adam Montayne and Albert Denver in defence. Jim Bunner as a side midfielder with Chucky Cardaway, Hidetoshi Nakata and Riku Matsushita as FWs. Shots will score 90% of the time if a shot block doesn’t support the keeper and only a few Midfielders can be debatable on who to objectively choose who is the best support to play with. At least in IE 2, it was more varied as there wasn’t exactly a “definitive” player other than maybe Icer, Nakata or Ted Autumn whom all had some form of weaknesses.

Btw if you’re curious about Adam Montayne: he has Power Element, Mole Shuffle and The Mountain(strongest Shot Block in the game) his earth element and moveset perfectly covers the best GK: Dark Emperors Feldt. Making him essentially the best defender in the game.

Gocker is probably better, but anyway mountain guy's guard stat is pretty low and his low TP forces you to either use that bracelet or pendant which gives you an extra 10TP or use economy (which is imo the right choice as you wanna give the othet thingy to Gocker)

@@e-duh3529 Power Element being a x1.5 multiplier is way more than enough to cover his low guard & TP stat. It covers DE Feldt’s Wood element. Especially from Grand Fire users such as Arachne, Dylan and Lean etc. You also can use items to heal if you don’t give him the promise pendant. The format is 15 minute halves due to IE 3’s low TP, so it’s a very rare scenario he gets caught out here.

@@TheModecular if you give him big moves he literally cannot use the mountain twice, that's my issue. And Gocker can also be a PE user with defense plus and pybii (tho I'd much rather use him with bm and the TP thing so he can be more versatile). Overall yeah Adam's great but the lack in versatility when it comes to defending and my disdain towards DE Takeshi make me not rate him all that high Oh yea and the healing thingies... I don't really take them into account, like, ever... even if I did, I like to be able to use my players' strong moves at least twice (except on forwards for obvious reasons) so uh, yeah

@@dudesayshi2191 , Aurelia can't use Big Moves and Put your into it at the same time. She's decent and definitely usable, but not a monster like Pants is.

Iirc, That tactic only places you just above the centre circle while circular drive essentially guarantees you a free shot on goal with whatever FW you want to shoot with.

@@TheModecular arw leaves you quite close to the goal and stuns all players excluding the goalkeeper in your opponent's team for essentially as long as you're gonna need to reach the goal. Circular whatever may end up with an undesired player getting the ball, resulting in a chaotic mess. Plus it's a defensive tactic which IMHO makes it worse
