Most important point: birds need atleast 8 hours of sleep just like humans. If they constantly live in sleepless routine they will go mad fighting themselves, destroying nests, killing babies. Eventually they will die in a year.

My 2 par budgies will trust me they will allow to do egg candleing but my another 2par will not allow to take their chick from pot but they will not hurt their chick they will attack me when I feed food to them
