Can u imagine how this people treat their wives as lesser human beings. In their mind women only care about shopping and watching TV series. Women don't pray nor seek God for hours yet these were believers, committed Christians, pastors and even Revereds. Don't try to justify ur pastor friend divorce, all of u should go home and treat ur wives well. This happens mostly in African countries...The pastors and others who are called by God has to be very careful...they should seek God's guidence in the matter of choosing their life patners...The servants of God are constantly involved in warfare againts their enimies, First of all they should choose their life partners that God shows them, secondly, Both husband and wife should pray together and involve them selves in prayer and fasting... Thirdly, the pastor should spend some quality time with their wives and children and express his love towards her and children....I'm an Indian, a pastor's wife as well, he went to be with the lord 3 yrs. ago...this kind of problem is very few in our country.....I heard that the black magic and witchcraft powers are too strong in African countries... The Bible says you can divorce on the reason of adultery and nothing else.I will use Moses as an example,He was one of the men who served God from infancy until he died.He never divorced his wife but he was always doing the work of God.Can we say there’s a Prophet today bigger than Moses hell no.What prophet is saying is justification and soo wrong.Like can we serve God wholeheartedly and adhere to His laws.God is still God even if we bring justification to satisfy our actions.

I don't think a spouse is supposed to come into marriage blank for their husband to write what they want. We're all created different and unique for a reason. The scrolls concerning our destinies were already written by God before we were formed. It's our duty to find out from God who he has prepared for us to marry. Our differences are supposed to make us stronger and better in life and ministry. Of cause it will take time to truly become one but I don't think anyone has the authority to write what they want over their spouse or children's life. This can be a source of psychological abuse especially in ministers marriages. it makes my heart ache 😢

1 John 5 vs 1.. if you love me obey my commands. What's his commands to husbands, Pastor or not? Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church...if one's calling means that they have no time for their spouse, are they obeying Christ's commands? How do you reconcile the 2 scriptures? Also 1 Cor 7 vs 5? The needs of the wife may just be emotional attention and spending time together. The bible is clear, God is not confused. Either some men and women of God were just never meant to marry or married without much knowledge of what God expects them to do in marriage.

There is no verse that says people married for ministry. 1Cor7 vs 32-34 states that a married man has a divided attention between his wife & God. Both should get your attention. Anyway as a woman and an individual I have the right to differ with his view. I salute women who leave any man who gives her attention then make her feel like he is doing her a favor. It is ok to be a husband in ministry but don't make your wife feel like u did her a favor by marrying her. When your woman is not happy with u, your prayers are not accepted by God 1Peter 3-7.

It all boils down to this: Matthew 5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. 1 Corinthians 7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:7:11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
