Y’all, I love you but you should really be more aware of your bias when it comes to Kim. She is not a victim and the true tea is that she is just as controversial as him, if not more so. She’s just a professional at controlling the narrative and paying people off to make things go away for her/her family while she sits back in silence and lets other news eventually over shadow their controversy. It’s pretty interesting to me to see the amount of manipulative power the Kardashian/Jenner family has over people because y’all could be getting tons of views and interaction on this channel if you talked about the recent Ray J scandal, but instead y’all continue praising Kim and talking about her as if she is a literal angel. We’re talking about hard evidence of the contract that proves Kris pimped out her daughter, had her film multiple tapes, pick their favorite one, and then manipulated Ray J into tarnishing his own image forever in order to launch Kim’s career and then continue to screw him over numerous times by bringing it up to promote their shows with no remorse for how it effects him and his family. That’s just one example of many things that family gets away with. I get that Kanye is a controversial dude and isn’t good at choosing some of his words, but at least he faces it head on and doesn’t run from scrutiny or pay people to control the narrative or exploit people to protect his image. Anyways, the point is that being aware of our own biases is important no matter how small it may seem because it’s what enables it to happen at higher levels and conditions us to speak from/listen to one sided perspectives. Once again I love y’all, love the podcast, but the constant praising of Kim ain’t it babes.

I worked at Ulta at the beginning of the pandemic and STILL all they cared about was trying to force people to get the credit card. I complained once because a coworker tricked an elderly woman into getting one. She was starting to cry and management didn’t give a fuck. I would be punished for it getting enough in a day. So Ulta isn’t perfect at all. They do have something for everyone but if someone comes in needing help it’s an unspoken rule to lead them to prestige. They didn’t like me because I wouldn’t lie to people and say a 25 dollar mascara was worth the money. I’m not boycotting them by any means I’m just saying they’re not the greatest. I’d like to know what they’re doing to ensure a safe space or if those are just words.

Macy’s is the same. We had to get 4 credits card signups (minimum) a week, otherwise our jobs were jeopardized. When there’s quotas involved, you can really feel the pressure. Unless you have a chill manager who doesn’t care about it, your job can become really stressful.

We live on a farm and have horses but I’m so so glad you guys got to have an ETHICAL horseback riding experience!! Definitely so different than the typical tourist experience where the animals are money making machines. Ps horses in the wild walk 30+ miles a day so it sounds like that ride you went on was definitely not too much for them. Glad you had a good experience!!

Lol I literally commented a book about this topic because it bothers me when people CHOOSE to leave out common sense because it makes them (in their minds) more likeable when really we are all like ummmm nooooooo lol that’s not how it works… at all. But I loved the podcast I just can see how California man, especially LA is so delusional in their thought processes and it rubs off on the people surrounding them. Like keep common sense in the forefront please! And I agree with when they say they are a real woman they are not. They are a real “trans” woman and that’s why that word is there. But it feels belittling to me when men try to say they are an ACTUAL woman… like no no no you did not or will never go through things my body has… nor will I ever go through things your body has. That’s why I love people like Blaire White who speak up about this problem. She is a trans woman who says “I wasn’t born a woman, therefore I’ll never be a real woman. But I am a trans woman, I love myself, and that’s all there is to it.” Like it’s literally that simple! I think some people are just so afraid of offending someone or cancel culture they won’t put that opinion out in the open for fear of backlash. But I won’t stop fighting for common sense, no matter what. We don’t need to dumb down our society we can already see in the younger generations how badly this is going to effect them and it’s not right 💯

I was trying to figure out a way to articulate this . I have 0 problem with anyone in the LGBTQ community, that’s really not my business and I try to spread kindness to everyone. However with that being said & me being a biological woman.. only biological women will understand our struggles. Our hormones are insane , periods suck and are painful , our minds and bodies / genes / dna work different all & all . I’m not saying they can’t identify as a woman if that’s what they would like to do then go for it. It is different tho
