My wife and I moved to Youngsville,NC 2 Years ago mostly because of how close we are to Wake Forest and North Raleigh. Everything and anything we need is within 20-25 min. We have 6-7 different grocery stores within 15 min of our house and still get all the other benefits of the surrounding area. The airport is also a simple 35 min drive in the early morning when I travel for work. Sure it’s getting busy this way and there’s more traffic but that’s expected for any suburb of a larger city that’s less than an hour away from the city center. Excited to see what else comes our direction - plenty of commercial zoned land where future shopping centers or even a Costco could call home. One thing to note for anyone coming out of state and participating in this growth - please be respectful to those either native to this area or who have been here longer. It’s a slightly slower pace of living with rich history and many locals welcome the change but leave your attitude & driving habits where you are coming from. Take a moment to slow down, learn the area, meet some locals, and that will help preserve a lot of the charm that’s in this area.

i moved to north raleigh a year ago (with the help of your channel) and absolutely love it! you've got the greenway, falls lake dam, blue jay point beach, wilkerson preserve, durant nature preserve, abbotts creek trail, wakefield trail, simms branch trail... you get the serenity and nature of being in the 'burbs while still easily accessing places like downtown raleigh and durham. and wake forest is charming too. i'm originally from cambridge, ma and i really don't miss that congested city life at all :')

Excellent of you to mention the air traffic along 540. From a showing, you'd never guess your peaceful backyard is the approach path for RDU.

Chris , I've moved in and out of Raleigh 6 times , since July 1993 , and I've loved it , each and every time , that I've lived there . I left Raleigh 10 years ago in : May 2014 , and promised myself that : I'd come back someday . Right now , I'm in the process of trying to get back up there , over the course of about the next 2 to 4 years , or so . When I do , hopefully by 2028 at the latest , I'll be up there for good 👍😊 !! My sister lives up there in Bahama : population of pushing 1,500 or so , a little northern suburb of Durham , with my niece and her boyfriend , and she could certainly use the company of her big brother , living close by , in the area . All of the times that : I've lived up there , were nothing short of an adventure . It was just nonstop fun 😊 , living in Raleigh 😊 ! Great 👍 video 👍 Chris 😁 ! Raleigh definitely brings back some memories 😊 !

What is the price for a condo or a house in north Raleigh.

Condos typically from 250K on up. Townhomes start around 300K. Detached homes start around 350K. Median house price overall is over 500K in North Raleigh. Hope that helps

There will be NO quality of life if the area is extremely over populated with the rich and entitled. Oh wait it Already IS. Find somewhere else to live . You are destroying any chance for hardworking folks to afford rent .
