As an infj-t 4w5 458, i can easily adjust to people very well; in every different situations. I can never let them feel uncomfortable (if i like) we know every little things we release into this world, may it be words, actions, or/and many more. I can also pretend and change my aura. Like; i can also purposely appear as dumb person, innocent, intimidating.. etc. That's how my Ni, Fe, Ti, Se works. Fe is so critical!

It is yes. However you can mitigate your losses by planting seed in good soil. I myself will not spend time trying to save everyone anymore. Most that are lost will never be saved and you can simply use up all of your life and life force trying to save such people. I choose to help people who are not asking for help but obviously doing whatever they can to rise above the negative circumstances they have found themselves in. Good soil.

Well, science says there's about 2% that has narcissistic personality disorder. And I say that as someone who grew up around a covert/insecure type narcissistic father/sister. As confirmed by people that spesialise in that disorder. Nothing described here indicates narcissism. Its not about sometimes having superficial small talk. They are insane, and only really take their mask of when they are home, or feel in controll over how they are perceived. They drive people to suicide, especially if they make children into their targets. They have almost zero empathy. Are extremely manipulative. Even if you don't react to unprovoced humiliation as an example, and don't tell anyone, they will flip the script and proactively slander you for exactly what they did to you. They will claim to forget having said things sometimes minutes after they said it. And that's all the time, and that's a small selection of examples. Normal people generally will find it hard to believe. Literally Nothing to do with not testing INFJ on a test. And I tested as one. I guess I just don't buy that it's something you fundamentally are. Just a cluster of personality traits. Neuroplasticity is a proven thing. Change is possible even as adults, if not easy. According to all available evidence it's likely close to 50-50% between genes and socialisation. But with sensitive people significantly higher on socialisation. ironic, since YT-INFJ's generally both consider themselves sensitive and born "special". But obsvious otherwise. Less sensitive equals less affected by things, including parents etc.

We INFJs are often hurt when people who seemed to "like" us start to pull away. Most of them have avoided truth and reality in order to maintain beliefs in cultural, religious, political dearly held beliefs. We have trashed those beliefs when they turned out to be untrue. It is very uncomfortable for most people to judge others so frequently and relentlessly. The INFJ makes others uncomfortable with telling the truth. So, often, people who have seemed close and agreeable in the past run out of tolerance for our iconoclastic ways. They prefer to look the other way and keep up comforting pretenses about those dearly held beliefs, so they slide away from the INFJ. You will be "gjosted" or disinvited to group outings for no discernible reasons.

As a INFJ , I noticed people usually let out their true inner selves when they see me . The Vile behaviour , openly threatening to murder me and so on . This is when I dress normally for a party and just chill quietly by myself . But everyone changes their behaviour when I come dressed to the same party as my true intimidating self that isnt going to take any of their BS . They show respect , keep their distance and approach me with caution , picking their words carefully when talking to me . Revealing their masked behavior of how fearful they are not knowing its the same person . This is the internet and people may think of this as a joke but I did this purely as research for my psychology notes . No one is shallow and no one is deep . just peel their layers away to help understand better . Update - People I know have started to lie and isolate me . In a few days I'll be drugged and forced to forget everything against my will . They're hiding something from me , but I'm not sure what it is . But I got other plans , to become a world class psychologist and help troubled people that regular psychologists refuse to help .

@MJulian I'm being threatened by my Malignant Narcissist and her organised crime family , So with her trying to bring back my trauma from every kidnapping , shanking , drugging , gun shots to my gut , hypnosis and rape , I've gained the experience to relate to victims as well as her . She had her 'Narc Collapse' moment and to this day she has never known that hurt me more than any of the torture . Watching her break down and cry . There was never a need for revenge , It was all a cry for help that should've come before I was dragged away from her .

Holy smokes. I thought I wrote this comment. The amount of people that have told me to my face they will kill me and try to, is more than I can count. Last month a woman on the train threatened my life while I was standing next to 2 police officers. All I wanted to do was use the bathroom. People try to run me over (like drive into on coming traffic). I had a nurse refuse me care so I got an infection in my chemo port. All I did was exist. I was stabbed in the face on the 2 train. My crime? Sitting there and telling a woman to stop elbowing me in my ribs. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Agreed! I used to hold activities within a group. What I found out, because I didn't know it pryer, is that I am excellent at conducting a group in a congruent fashion that includes everyone in a way that suits them and is interesting and palatable for the rest of the group. In those situations it is rare for someone to see me in a scary way. However sometimes there is a person there that will get extremely intimidated by who I am and wants to stay as far away from me as possible. Not because they don't like me but because they don't want to be seen. I am often reffered to as psychic in these groups. Not that I am of course but as fellow INFJ's we all know that we pay attention and can see things needed way before they are required.

When they answered her call, she said "What is she doing that she isn't answering my phone call?" I thought she was acting so entitled to reach someone the instant she desired it. To answer the question at the end. As an INFJ when I feel people feeling weird around me it has usually two outcomes. I look at them like and INFJ does and decide who they are. If they are a type that makes me want to make them feel comfortable then I will go to their level to ease their issues. If they are a type I tend to despise then I do nothing and let them absorb that feeling and leave them to process their own shortcomings.

Luckily I'm a very quiet guy... I often notice peoples contradictions, arrogance, "insanity," bigotry, or sheer stupidity. These days I mostly shut down hard too any response of the garbage coming out peoples mouths. When they try and goad me, I tell them, "You do not have the time or endurance to allow me to factually & totally crush how tangled your concepts are"... And NO, I don't sit & wonder why I only have a few true friends. I don't want fake people with flaky, or fad driven concepts around me. So, it is what it is & I'm chill with it. Aho \o/

The only thing I'd like to add to this excellent vdo is that INFJs shouldn't waste their time feeling bad about how others treat them for being so "weird." The sooner you let it go and just accept that life is unfair and that trying to fit in with the normal chaos of others' lives is futile. See it for what it is and move on. Be happy with what you have, otherwise you will become angry and unhappy with yourself. Truth and personal honor are too precious to throw away simply because many will feel threatened by you. It took me awhile to realize that the malice of others was based on jealousy and feeling threatened by honesty. Outgrowing these feelings of anger towards the world will let you get on with life sooner than resenting reality will. Enjoy your gifts. Enjoy the moments when things go well. Be at peace with your unique mental gifts and accept yourself for who you are. Trying to be social means trying to be like the status quo and it simply can't work for the INFJ even if you think it should.

Sometime i feel bad but most of the time i saw people being lazy and not taking responsibility seriously and always try to avoid truth in fear of work and self improvement but at the end they're also human i feel like everything takes time and its different for everyone and strongly based on what the society and environment force them or let them be, other then that reality is far more complex you can't judge everything or change everything but this doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

Regarding the candid part INFJ can tell it like it is but some that understand social aspects understand how to finesse things to where they won’t shut down and not listen. When I tell the truth it’s to help not to shove my own bias down their throat. Also there is a difference in venting vs complaining. Complaining is by example is complaining about working when you chose to get a job. Venting is wanting someone there to listen and be there with you in that moment and you maybe feeling overwhelmed. Also the last one needs more clarification and I hope most INFJ people don’t fall into what is called conformation bias or wanting to hear what they want to hear or what lines up with their beliefs. Even your enemy holds nuggets of truth. Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are the grounds we tread but while ignorance is unavoidable people getting set in their way and not willing to grow is the downfall of man.

When I find a woman I care about they tend to not know how to read me. I pay close attention to them and often they mistake my attention and careful selection of words I say as me trying to manipulate them because so many are that way. They simply haven't ever felt or seen someone who values them so much. Add that to the sudden change of being super nice to them to me standing my ground so strongly when I feel tested for weakness makes them completely confused and then they run. We INFJ are loyal and loving but since our behavior can appear similar to a narcissists love bombing to those unaccustomed to us we scare the crap out of people we would never hurt..

At this point in time in my life, I care less about opinions frowning, about the unconfortable feelings some might get around me, even if my circle is small because of the fact that alot of ppl cannot take the full extent of what is involved in a viable relationship ( friendships or any other type or relations usually considered worthy) on the long run with me, I take it as more survivable than trying to stick around for others. I am comfortable in these terms. I do not have big material constraints which permits me to be relatively content in my life.

My husband and I are both infj-ts. We didn’t know until several months ago. We just vibe but we are both complex and deep people. It is great because we understand and comfort one another. It can be a lonely life sometimes but we find fulfillment and growth with eachother. I truly believe that I’ve met someone who is more intuitive than I whom I respect deeply. It is a blessing.

Normally, I notice it and I will just not address the situation. Or I will try to subtly Suehyla person negatively views me overtime. But it is never mind tension to try to make somebody like me more than I already do because I would rather just focus on what I have to do. And as long as somebody treat me with respect, I could care less if they dislike me or think that I am weird.

I know the point of these videos is usually to promote self-esteem (or low-grade narcissism, depending on your perspective), but I usually think of a person representing the INFJ archetype as a social justice warrior that can't sort of...you know...switch it off. That's the root of the discomfort, not because the person is 'extra super special and no one else understands the burdens of my super powers'. It'll be the kind of person you'll go for a cup of coffee with, and you pick the African coffee, and you have to listen to why what you did was socially irresponsible. Or in the very least, you'll get a probing 'not lecture' series of questions about 'how you think you could have made a better choice.' If they are religious, they'll need to always point out to you how you're not doing enough for the cause, and why your mainstream choices and opinions are ultimately 'serving Satan'. From the perspective of lead Fi, this kind of constant quest for activism and justice can be rather tiresome, and actually get in the way of real harmony. I have met people that really have this tendency bad, and, although I think they're good people ultimately, it sort of makes you wish they could learn to not be so hard-boiled about it. It must be difficult if you are really wired this way. I had a friend once who couldn't do ANYTHING without getting angry about social issues. We walked into a store and she became furious when she saw an advertisement for a small local zoo. And so it's kind of the ultimate buzz kill, even if you are like me and do care about social issues, if you can't realize WHEN you can change something, you aren't actually helping to change anything at all, just being a buzz kill.

That's not exactly always the case. People doesn't feel uncomfortable around INFJ topic, most people are kinda curious about it's overwhelming state. Yes, I tend to go deep in philosophy and most people can't say a thing about it, but there are a lot of people who can. Also I have to mention, people who feel uncomfortable around an INFJ topic, those are all introverts. My extrovert friends tend to follow my conversation or just trying to change the topic, but this isn't equal with feeling uncomfortable. INFJ's in my opinion individualists at times. There are the 4w3 and the 4w5. I'm the silent one about it. This is what makes an INFJ the mystic. INFJ is the one secret mode in the game that you can't really experience if you aren't an INFJ. AND on the contrary, INFJ tend to feel uncomfortable around people and even around most of their friends, because INFJ has all kinds of people close to them. They have common topics and that's why INFJ used to seek the meaning of life, the meaning of anything what's an unpopular topic and that's because those topics have more value on the spiritual way. So when a friend tries to talk about cars or structures or about their friends, most of the times INFJ can't really talk, we used to stay silent because of this. Those aren't "worthy" enough for us to feel hyped about the conversation. So when an INFJ stays silent, people WILL start to feel uncomfortable around them. Not because of their topic most of the times, but because of their friend's topic. Also you can't really define a "True INFJ". Most of the INFJ's are also different but they are still INFJ's in the mindset or becaue of the material way. INFJ is an INFJ. There are no such things like "True INFJ", although that doesn't make anyone an INFJ. Yes, there are natural born "requirements". I'm a 23 years old male INFJ which means I'm super shy and anxious and sensitive. In my childhood, there were not a single day when I didn't cry. I always tried to help others and I easily understood others too. INFJ's are two legged empathy machines. If you are an INFJ and you look on your friend's face or hear his or her voice, you will immediately know how they feel. But most importantly, INFJ's goal is others to understand them. We are difficult, but please try to understand us the best you can, because that makes us really, but really happy.
