Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I really appreciate it. About the lack of practical solutions - one step at a time. Singer’s 'Famine, Affluence, and Morality' is one of the most debated pieces in philosophy for a reason: it’s a brilliantly constructed argument, and utilitarians have done an incredible job presenting tough ideas to counter. That said, I also don’t have all the answers. I’m putting these articles and videos out in the world there because I truly believe everyone is capable of thinking and creating new solutions. We’re all beings of reason and emotion, even if school and society try to suppress that. But I know we have this capacity within us. Thanks again for engaging! It makes me happy to read your thoughts.
