As someone who did applied physics, it's hard to get a job within physics or engineering without a master's or PhD.
@kxmeha125611 ай бұрын
This is true, don’t just stop at the bachelor cause you’ll be in trouble if you don’t exceed in anything in particular.
@YdoboNmI9 ай бұрын
Really? Even in doing applied physics you still found difficulty getting a job in engineering? Is that the case in the U.S. or another country?

Why on earth would you study physics if you weren’t planning on getting at least a master’s anyway

THE HARDEST STEM DEGREE: PHYSICS

Geology major here but bro Computer Science is the hardest. Do data structures & algorithms/leetcode interviews and you’ll understand. 😢

@@moyndebs6759 DSA is so easy compared to some classes a math or physics major might take. Try taking proof based math like real analysis, complex analysis, algebraic topology, or quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, etc.

Is it possible to do any engineering degree after bachelor physics?
@Tkcb2799 Жыл бұрын
Yes. Biomedical engineering for example.

100% you could even take a couple engineering courses at a community college to get up to speed after graduating
@randallmcgrath9345 Жыл бұрын
Yes, but youll need to take some engineering core courses, so likely, youll be admitted to thw grad school but not the program itself until you have thoae engineering prereqs done. But he great news is tjat physixs majors already habe to take electronics 1 qnd a couple coding heavy classes(probably more than a couple tbh 😅) most likely Matlab or perhaps Python or something.
@threaty5829 Жыл бұрын
Yes, physics is very applicable for any engineering you deem to pursue. For example obtaining a masters in electrical engineering or aerospace engineering will be straight forward once you have a bachelor in physics.

@RawDiscovery6 ай бұрын
Yes. I have a friend here at uni who is a double major in both, planning on going to graduate school in physics. It is difficult but doable
