as someone who went to all different types of shows since they were 13, i think the tiktok thing is real. i saw DEFTONES at sick new world. deftones has been huge since the 90s and i swear i was the only one in my section of the crowd singing along with all the songs and having energy. it wasnt until their most popular song "change" where everyone else started singing and whipped out their phones to record. it was truly depressing and dystopian in a way.
