Pollination is the act of transferring pollen grains from the male anther of a flower to the female stigma. The goal of every living organism, including plants, is to create offspring for the next generation. One of the ways that plants can produce offspring is by making seeds. For the fruit seeds to develop, pollen has to be transferred between two flowers of the same species, which then fertilizes the flower and allows the production of healthy seeds on the plant. ... One way to do this is to plant more pollinator food sources such as a variety of flowering plants. There are two types of pollination, called self-pollination and cross-pollination. Self-pollination is the more basic type of pollination because it only involves one flower. This type of pollination occurs when pollen grains from the anther fall directly onto the stigma of the same flower. In Japan, they use the pollination garden for better production.
It is very important in agriculture, without pollination you cannot get a good production. Must watch the full video to learn pollination facts.
