I remember in elementary, I had a "best friend." I can't say whether or not it was fake because we were kids. But thinking about it now, there was one time she completely DITCHED me for like a week to hang out with another girl and I was visibly upset about it. She was literally my only friend in the entire class so I was alone for a week. I kept asking why I can't just hang out with them and she's like "well, I'm trying to be nice, and I don't want (girl's name) to be alone or feel left out." People kept telling me I was just jealous and it was so petty that I was jealous. So I guess I kind of let it go. I wish I hadn't because then I realized she wasn't really a friend friend. We were kind forced into a friendship since her dad really like me and she was always next door (I lived next to our teacher) for tutoring. When she switched cools, I was trying so hard to stay in touch. Like we were just kids so the most we could do was exchange house phone numbers or get our parents to schedule something for us but she always came up with some half-assed excuse as to why we couldn't and she just disappeared. Never saw her again. For a while at least... Fast forward a couple years later, there was this county school event thing for a high school scholarship and I ran into her. Well. My grandma saw her and called me. I would've never seen her if my grandma didn't. I was so happy and hugged her and in return I got nothing. She was like "oh cool." And walked away. Didn't even hug back. I almost thought I got the wrong person but she knew it was me because when my grandma asked if she recognized me she said "yea" and then left. Gone. Yea ok. At that moment I realized and beat myself for ever missing her all these years. I remember when I finally switched schools, I was so excited thinking she went to the school I was going to (my grandma told me that). Guess it was a lie cause she wasn't. I till wonder what made her think that tho. At least I got real friends now who actually care about my wellbeing and want me around. Even after I moved across the country, they still keep in touch. That sounds horrible. Even if she didn't want to be friends with you, she didn't have to lead you on. That just seems like she was trying to be manipulative. A similar thing happened to me, but it's been resolved now. My friend last school year and I were in a friend group of 4 people. Then, the first friend started drifting away to go hang out with this other girl. That REALLY hurt the boy in our group bc they were pretty close friends, like they would do everything together. Some kids even thought they were dating, even though they were just friends. The girl did end up apologizing, and seemed really guilty about it, but now the friend group has kind of drifted apart and I'm best friends with another girl in the friend group and her cousin. Sadly, I moved a couple states away but I hope we can see each other again one day. We still talk on the phone every night at least. I'm glad everything got better for you, though. Toxic friends shouldn't be a thing, so I'm glad it didn't affect you too badly

I feel like she maybe didn't feel as close to you when you met her again and she maybe didn't like you hugging her cuz in her opinion "you aren't her friend anymore" but very mean of her just being like "oh okay bye" she could atleast have been like "oh hey nice seing you again how are you doing?" you know if she didn't want you around she could of just ended the friendship instead of wasting your time cuz you can't even get *one second* back in life so don't waste!

My best friend, who is like my sister, talked behind my back about my mental state. I only told her that I feel depressed n stuff. I was crying while I told her so, it's a big deal for me. My best friend, let's call her X, when I was like 10, always ditched me for other people. Once, she asked me to stay back at church after it ended (we knew each other from church) while she was waiting for her other best friend. She begged me to ask my dad if I could stay about 20 minutes more so I called my dad and asked him About a minute later, her other friend came. Upon seeing her, X said "Oh, E is here! Bye!" and jumped up from the seat, rushed to her and they walked off together While I sat there waiting for 20 minutes for my dad to pick me up. Alone. Not really that bad, but it made me realise that I shouldn't be best friends with her

Even though my best friend is the one to constantly "insult" me in a friendly way, I said one thing about her, and she got mad and blocked me. The thing I said is that her bunny might hate her, and no, I'm not just saying that. I actually have reasons. She constantly invades the bunny's personal space and also keeps putting the bunny on the sofa, and the bunny jumps from the sofa, which is pretty tall. She also never leaves the bunny alone and once, her bunny very clearly wanted to be left alone, and she just kept bothering her. Edit: other than those things, shes mainly super fun and sweet, and I really like being around her because she always boosts my energy and happiness. She actually really really loves her bunny to death.

Then a few months after, she got herself a boyfriend ONLINE and dated after 2 weeks of talking to eahother. Me and my bf talked for 6 months before dating. And then she made a discord server to say how cringy me and my bf are and call shits like ew n stuff. My relationship was a secret. And one of the people in that server was my other bestfriends which one i alr knew doesnt approve either and one i really trusted and she stabbed my back when she said "ew" and sent screenshots of what were private information i only trusted on her. I left all 3 of them and now have trust issues.

Not an online dating thing, but just simply having an online friend...I am always thankful that she wanted me to be cautious online, but she was just being extra like “what if they kidnap you Because you’re smart?” 1. They are in a different state 2. They are YOUNGER than me 3. THEY ARE IN A DIFFERENT STATE 4. What would they do with a smart kid? Roughly 7 years ago, when I was in the third grade, this new girl showed up at school. We were “friends” for the first few weeks until she started manipulating me. She turned all my friends against me, mentally and physically bullied me, and I didn’t say a word about it to anyone, (Including to my parents) up until a few years ago because I was too shy to say anything. I transferred schools the next year and haven’t seen her since. To this day, I don’t know why she hated me so much.

I have a fake friend. When I'm sad, she tells everyone that she has something worse. When I feel unhappy and want to be alone, she tries to replace me in the friend group I'm in. When I talk to someone that's a good friend, she joins the converation and then slowly only talks to the good friend, leaving me out. When I'm sitting on a bench alone playing with a fidget toy that I'm allowed to take to school (pop-it fidget toys are allowed at my school and every friday I sit on a bench playing with mine) the fake friend comes to me and starts saying "hi are you fine because I came to see you because you look lonely and you probably have no friends" and she says it in a mocking tone. When I'm not having fun and she is, she does whatever she's doing right next to me but doesn't include me so that I feel bad (I don't). She lied just to make me feel bad, here is what she said: her: do you like minecraft? me: yes I do I watch lots of minecraft videos and I hope to download the game soon! her: well there's this place called mine-camp in france where you get to go camping with the creators and devs of minecraft! me: (not knowing much) oh cool! her: and this saturday I'm going to france to go to mine-camp! me: cool! her: but I can't buy you a ticket! me: well I guess you can just have fun there (questioning if mine-camp exists in my mind) her: and do you like roblox? me: yeah I play it her: there's also a place called ro-camp where you go camping with the creators and devs of roblox! me: (thinks if ro-camp exists too but is a bit sceptical) well that's cool I'll google if mine-camp and ro-camp exist after school her: and I'm going to LA to go to ro-camp tomorrow so I won't be at school! me: ok her: but I can't buy you a ticket me: ok The next day at school she was there. Here a nice story about my really pathetic friendship: So basically, I was friends with this group of people since kindergarten. They were first nice and all, and I thought that our “friendship” would last forever. But the thing is, I was a naive little kid with no friends or whatsoever. So there is this girl, she is like the “queen” of the group, and would order us around to do stuff. One thing I remembered was that she used us as armrests when we were walking down the corridor. But my stupid self thought that it was normal for friends to do that. Fast forward to primary/elementary-middle school, we all went to the same school. I still was friendly to that “queen” friend. Then at 9-10 years old, she started to spread rumours about and ostracised me from friends around me. At first I thought that it was a joke or something. But during P5 (11) I found myself with no friends in the class because of that one girl. Like, what have I ever done to her? Then finally P6 (12), some people turned their back against her and helped me up. They treated me like a real friend, and I couldn’t believe how many years I had wasted on the “queen” friend. I even became depressed because of her. Guys, if you have a toxic friend like that “friend” of mine, stay away from them. They only use you to get what they want. Don’t cry over them like I did. Stay strong, so you don’t waste time over one person and move on. I wish you luck in getting a true, good friend. :3

So I had this fake friend that replaced me with another fake friend, and another that didn’t respect who I am, she says I’m too sensitive (I’m a highly sensitive person) so I cry so many times, that she would get annoyed and laugh at me, and treated my sister like a princess, I was not jealous or anything I was just sad that, she won’t pay attention to me, that she didn’t respect my religion, but I respected everything she does, and she forces my sister to do things she didn’t want to do. Broke off my 2 year friendship with my ex best friend because she did a lot of things for me without my permission (ex. Buying stuff with my money) She thinks what she's doing was "good for me" and eventually I got tired of it. What really made me snap was when she called me being "cheap" for saving up money (she was a spoiled brat). I got one. When I was 10 I used to hang out with this group of "popular" girls, who I loved a lot. When I was in grade 2 this girl wanted to be my friend- (probably because I was an easy target) but she had anger issues and would pull my hair, pinch me etc. My aunts would tell me not to form bonds with people because they would betray me (they had people who they formed strong bonds with but then they stabbed them in the back causing manger trust issues) So, I didn't approach anyone but still hurt to be lonely so was really happy when the girl wanted to be my friend and totally forgot what they said at that moment. And when I remembered when they told me again. (They would often remind me ) I assumed it was okay since she wasn't going to form a close bond with me.) Looking back at it now it's messed up but let's continue. Me and this boy did become good friends though since the girl had a crush on him I think and so brought him into our group. After it went on for a while me and him grew sick of her behaviour. She would pick on me and she was obsessed and as I saw it at the time, circled around him. We wanted to stop hanging out with her but even though we planned it we never actually went through with it since we were scared of her taking revenge or something. From an outsider's point of view this is how they would see it imaginatively: The girl was the gaurd also bc she wouldn't let me or the boy hangout with anybody else. The boy was the break out rescue team but when he got to the prison the guard tried snatching him up too but he escaped every once in a while although had a mission and would always come back attempting to rescue the prisoner. And what was weird too was that the girls constant game had something to do that her and the boy were a couple and I was their kid. It was very strange but every time I wanted to play something else or even be someone else in the game she wouldn't allow it. Eventually she had to move away and we pretended to be sad. The one thing I will miss though is hanging out with that boy bc once she left me and him drifted a part and made new friends. (you know that whole girls stick with girls and boys with boys in elementary school) By that point I started to see how they were wrong and made a new best friend. (but that's a whole other story) I think me and the boy had tinny crushes on each other but it faded by now since we don't talk much.

I had a friend who I was very close to and met him in kindergarten. We used to have the sort of connection and we were just really good friends. It was never awkward between us and we were just best friends. A lot of rumors started because we were friends of opposite genders, and apparently that means dating. We didn’t care too much and just liked being with each other. I moved away for two years but came back. It’s not that we changed, it’s just the spark that made us friends went away. We had known each other for 7 years and we stopped there. I still feel sad it ended but it becomes awkward every time I talk to him.

In high school she kept trying to find me a boyfriend, even though I didn't want one. And shipping me with every guy I talked too and bringing these really desperate guys to come and try and talk to me. But if a guy did end up liking me she'd try to steal him away, and brag about how lots of people had a crush on her and how she couldn't help it. She had this one story where she said a couple broke up because they both ended up falling for her. At some point there was one guy that I thought I might like back, but every time he was brought up she'd brag about how he liked her first and messaged her and made fun of him. Plus she was also super dependant on having a boyfriend, like she could never be single. The moment she breaks up with a guy she had to immediately start looking for another boyfriend it was like she couldn't live without one. The final straw was when she started going around telling people she wasn't white, but actually mexican and latino. She was white, I knew because she constantly changed her story and because I met her family. She was just white through and through. But lied because she thought being ethnic was cooler, and would go around bashing white people and getting offended if she was "mistaken" for white. I once told her I had mayan in me from my dad's side. My dad is from Honduras and my mom from Mexico, and she immediately said so was she. But ik mayans come from central America, but in her latest story she claims to be part Brazilian and Mexican. There are and were no Mayans there... I just felt uncomfortable that she was using my race as a prop to make herself seem better. I should have seen this coming since when I first met her she kept bragging about how everyone mistook her for latino or mexican. And I had just moved there from a mexican and latino neighborhood in LA, and I told her she didn't at all look that way to me and that I could tell she was white which made her mad. (Yeah in the beginning of the high school year she didn't lie about her race and told people she was white. It wasn't until later in the year did she suddenly become a new race), I never talked to her again for the rest of my high school experience. If I see her again I'd probably just ignore her

I had a toxic friend, (we'll call her Ashley) in elementary school, she got super angry at me for no reason, and we were almost not going to be friends. We went on a call, and she told me it was a prank. haHaHA. Then my one of my best friends had to move because they owner of the house needed someone to buy the house, and they couldnt buy the house (lets call her Sarah). At that time, their were almost NO houses on the market for renting. Ashley texted me and Sarah's other best friend, Lucia, and started saying things like, "Sarah can just live in a hotel the rest of her life, and she can just live in n her car." WHAT THE HECK!!! It doesnt stop there. Finally, she started angry texting me saying things like "You didn't support me when i moved" (yes, she did move over this time but only across the town, and I literally called her EVERYDAY even when I didnt want to, just to support her when she moved) and she would say like "You're the worst best friend ever!" then she would text me saying SEND THIS TO SARAH AND TELL HER IT WAS ME!!! like, gurl. Jsyk, I hate it when people don't like me. SO if I was going to unfriend her, she was most definitely going to hate me. My mom ended up texting her and saying that she had been texting very mean stuff, and that she was gonna be blocked. I blocked her from everything. Then, she emailed me twice during my next year in elementary. She asked me "are we still friends?" GIRL, WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?! then i would say like 'no, but i still respect you' and she would be a drama queen and say like 'oh, then I wont talk to the rest of the friend group' and i replied with 'you cant talk to me, but you can talk to everyone else.' So yea. That was my toxic friend story...... she was a horrible friend.

This is a story about my ex best friend and I, this is when we were like 9. So one day, I decided to come over to her house. I enjoyed my time with her, she usually left me for my best friend whom isnt fake, but I didnt mind. So I came over and said hey to her Mom, she smiled and waved back while she was cooking or making sandwiches. My ex best friend, let's call her C. C was in the living room, and she saw me. She got up and told me to go into her room so she can show me something. So we did, her room was very messy. It contained stains on the carpet, a bowl, toys, wood, plastic, a tv, etc on the floor or at the edge of a counter. Luckily I wore shoes. So I got on her bed and watched videos with her, she showed me this video that I didnt know she is taking seriously. People please dont target me for this, I was too young and I NEVER EVER heard of this birth defect. So we watched about big head birth defects and I believe another one. And I started laughing, calling them aliens. C looked at me and was like, WHAT ARE YOU SAYING THESE ARE KIDS THAT HAVE BIRTH DEFECTS, OMG WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING THIS IS SAD. I apologized and told her I never knew these existed, all I know is my childhood friend is suffering from other things. After telling her and apologizing, she looked at me and did this face: 🙄🙄🙄. And we continued watching, I felt bad for these people and I prayed for them to get a good life and a awesome future with good health. The next day, she started ignoring me and staring angry with me. I became confused and came up to her and asked what I've done to make her avoid me and make her mad. She said, ur a liar and a bad friend, u hurt ppl and u made fun of poor children. I was confused but I apologized anyway and hoped we become friends again, she scowled and walked off. It got worse, I tried everything to make her my friend again but until I realised she is toxic and a fake. She has always been. She bullied me everytime I ignored her or stayed away from her everytime I do this she stalks me and harasses me. She lied about a rumor and told my friends, they believed her and I lost those two friends. And my bestie, let's call her K. She knows and believes me that I didnt do it. But she will have me as her friend and C's friend. I smiled, but got worried more. I decided to hang out with the popular girls, and they allowed me in with open arms. I told them my issues and they told C to stop but she didnt care and continued. I told the teachers about this and they believed me. And didnt believe C, I did everything and prayed to God for a miracle. A miracle happened but it was malicious, she decided to bully K for choosing me more over her. K said because I was telling the truth, I am a good friend, and that she didnt do anything to her. K and I hanged out more but C kept eyeing us. And bullied us both but we didnt care anymore, K punched C in the face and they're both sent to the office and there parents were called. C's Mom was a Karen and K's Mom listened calmly and tried to talk but C's Mom yelled at the principal to have K expelled or suspended from school. And C was fake crying so her Karen Mom will have more impact on them for hurting there daughter, K got suspended for a few days, and C bullied me again and a old lady in history didnt care what happens to me, one time, C kicked my desk 10+ times everytime she gets up to pass out papers or get her book(guys she did this for about a whole school semester.) I grabbed the table so she wont hit it, but my arms hurt so I let it go and she kicked it. I told the old lady and she was like, SHE DIDNT COME AND KICK U; SHES ALL THE WAY OVER THERE. And I studied this womans stupidity ._. Plus, all tables were separated one by one, and into columns. And when I got home I gave a hard prayer, and so did K. We prayed and prayed for another miracle and you know what happened? C's Mom discovers that her husband was cheating on her with H's Mom. H's mom is an amazing awesome mom :0 she is cool to me. Soon enough, C's Mom and Dad did a divorce. C slowly stopped bullying me and at the end of the year. C moved away with her Mom while the Dad stayed. And when K and I celebrate, the Dad drives by releasing this gas that I forgot came from the back of his truck. We didnt care anyway, it is in a safe distance from us. Few years later, C came back but this time K and I are older and tougher than we used to look back then. C stared at us and never made eye contact, she sat alone and now I see. She learnt her lesson. I have this one story (we’re still friends I just don’t see them as much bc I’m homeschooled) Ok so it started off in first grade I was a new student at the school I became friends with like 7 or 8 girls and I had like 2 or 3 boy best friends. So the first girls I became friends with were (Let’s call them Zira, Jayla, and Kiana) those girls were like literal angels they would help me on my school work then soon enough I became friends with more girls. Fast forward to 4th grade and I met this one boy (I’ll call him Ash) and I fell for him I loved him so much that whenever I would talk to him I would stutter or freeze up he thought it was funny but he was rlly sweet to me. There was this one girl I hated (I’ll call her Miracle) bc she would be so rude to me but when Ash would come around she would start acting like nothing happened between us at all, It went to the point when Ash gave her a box of chocolates on Valentine’s Day. I got so jealous that whenever she would brag about Ash giving her chocolate on Valentine’s Day I would pretend I care then ignore her. But one day I snapped u see I was a rlly quiet and sweet kid back then but when Miracle bragged again I lost it, I full on screamed at her saying “OK! I GET IT! Ash gave you chocolates but didn’t give me any!” That’s when she pushed me and said “Wow didn’t know u would be so rude about it” and that’s when I straight up pushed her to the ground, crouched down and told her “Listen here just bc I’m known as the sweet and quiet kid around here doesn’t mean you can push me around and for the love of god STOP BRAGGING! It gets annoying to the point where I want to tape ur mouth shut” and walked away. Ash and my friends came up to me asking “what was that about” I told them everything about what’s going on between me and Miracle and THANK GOODNESS they believed me. Ash stopped talking to Miracle and continued talking to me and my friends he eventually joined my friend group. Everytime I got on the bus I would see him waiting on me, he always saved me a seat my friends would go sit somewhere else bc they shipped us (I know kinda weird) but whenever Miracle got on the bus she would go straight to My and Ash’s seat and try to sit in between us so she can talk to Ash but me and him never let that happen he would tell me to scoot next to him and of course I would whenever this happened Miracle would get so jealous and angry to the point where she would try to pull me off the seat but Ash always kept me close to him so she couldn’t pull me off the seat. One day she had a FLIPPING POCKET KNIFE and A LIGHTER, and literally cut me and burned me everytime I went to the girls bathroom (Idk what was wrong with this girl-). My teachers and my friends would ask me why I have cuts and burns I wouldn’t tell them bc my friends knew how to fight and they would of messed her up but this one time one of my friends walked in and witnessed Miracle cutting and burning my arms when I tell u Zira literally grabbed this girl by her hair and straight up bruised this girl so bad that Miracle had to go to the Nurses office neither me or Zira told anyone what she did but Zira had a first aid kit in her bag and she healed my wounds and we went back to class. Nothing rlly happened since then but till this day idk what made Miracle PSYCHO enough to flipping do what she did (Was I in the wrong here?) 1:29 *MY FRIENDS RIGHT THERE!* I hate it and I really think they don't like me at all. They just talk to me during exams to get help (I am the top of the class btw) and later accuse *ME* that I didn't show the answers and they were mad. The cycle repeats so this year and sometimes beat *ME* using *MY* answers and sometimes the 2nd girl's (She is a shy one in class who doesn't speak at all and helps everyone). I decided to go solo and not help them *AT ALL* this year and lets see how they do in the overall subject's tests we took a week ago. They didn't get help from second girl either because she was in different shift (It's like one goes on Sunday and other on Monday) I am surely gonna laugh at their faces and say "Should have gotten a better marks if you were grateful. I'll listen and sometimes tell them a similar troubling experience ive had not to try and one up them in who has it worse but let them know i understand what they are going through on a personal level and so they can always come back and confide in me more because they'll know i'll empathise. The main reason i do it is because if i confide in someone they go "im sorry that sucks". Like i mean thanks but your answer will feel a bit empty. Okay I apologise that I write a lot in my comments... But I'll try not to make this too long 😂 So... My BFF and I have been friends since P2 (ages 5-6). I'll refer to her as 'M'. In S1 (ages 11-12) she made new friend, 'L'. We all became the best of friends. In S1, M was in my classes, but I changed class when I went into S2. Ironically, I got moved to L's class. A few months into S2 and M and L had an argument. L claimed that M slapped her with a wrapper and, according to L, it wasn't the 1st time M did that... I stayed friends with L because I was in classes with her and I wanted to stay friends with M, but L pretty much forbid me. She constantly blackmailed me. "If you talk to M I'll not be your friend" "If you don't come outside for a walk with me I'll tell suchnsuch that you like them!" (I didn't even like anyone so ugh!). Also... In S1 she slapped M and me in the leg quite a few times when we were carrying on, even though we told her not to. Anyway. L constantly asked me why I couldn't have a sleepover with her. She also said this quite a few times... (her) "You wanna go into town with me tomorrow?" (me) "Sorry I can't I have church tomorrow" (her) "Then just don't go to church." "No." "When do you go to church?" "the morning" "then come in the afternoon" "I have other church stuff in the afternoon" "then don't go to that" um yeah... When Christmas came, I gave M a card when L wasn't watching. I apologised for not being there for her and how I will always be her friend, it's just that L is not happy with me talking to her because of their fall out. M was glad. Yay! So I started talking to m again because I realised it was *my* choice not L's. Then in February or March 2019, I told L I was going for a walk or something because I needed to clear my head. It just so happens that I bumped into M. so I started to talk with M. so yeah. the next day at school in music, she tucked her chair in really far and she tried to say something to me in class (I sat behind her). I couldn't hear her so I said "sorry what?" and then she said "don't pretend you don't know!" "no genuinely I couldn't here you" "I said is this far enough away from you?!" I was like "ok I heard you but what the heck are you talking about?! L caught me. This is were I realised that she wasn't the right friend for me. She lied. She claims that I pretended to go for a walk just to talk to M, apparently she confronted me and when she did I allegedly punched her arm or kicked her in the leg or something. I DIDNT!!! She didn't even confront me! lies! but where she *really* drew the line?! She told the deputy head on me!!! for something I didn't do!!! the depute pulled me aside at break the next day or something and said "L said you kicked (or punched. can't remember) her. did you?" "No!" so thankfully she took my word for it and walked away. to this day she constantly gives M and me death stares when she sees us at like lunch and stuff. there's even more to tell (like when I accidentally texted her instead of my other friend with a similar name) but that's a story for another time. Better share mine then, you all wonderful people are the first who ever hear this story of mine. 1st Story: On second grade, I have two lovely friends, Diana and Louise. Though couple times they bully me, we reconcile and become friends. They are my first true friends. However, I remained a 2nd grader while they become a 3rd grader because of my ability of lack of reading. my whole family just embarrass me, especially in front of them. I was forced to switch schools thus separating from them. my older sister would tell me that Louise was searching for me and really miss me, breaks my heart till to this day and we lost contact ever since. 2nd story: Russell and Bryan become my close friends and we share sense of humor. We eventually separate as they move to another house. They rarely visit for few years but eventually stop. Senior high school jumps and me and russell become schoolmates but he change a lot and treats me as a stranger. What's worse is that he befriend my elementary bully. I don't now what happen to Bryan. 3rd story: my friend J is my neighbor, she also befriends both Russell and Bryan. Since we become friends, I have been the supportive friend, even saving her from embarrassment. I always thought of her as naive so I'm trying my "best friends" to her. However, we jump to 5th grade and she befriend more popularity kids (whilst I'm the loser from school) she eventually abandon me Thank you whoever reach the end, watching Kyutie and her reassuring voice really hits me hard and I wanted to let this out my chest. Why I dumped my friend: After we broke up (I was nice to him up until that point), he started to stalk my social media and liked all my posts. I told him jokingly that it was a bit creepy and sternly for him to stopped as it was unsettling. He then *found my TikTok* and started stalking me there, as well as on Pinterest and Roblox (I've quit Discord at this point so there's no point stalking me there). I blocked him on all platform, stopped talking to him all together, and LITERALLY have people watch my back to make sure he's not going to bother me. He used to be the person I'd tell all my problems to, he's seen me sobbing, at my weakest and most vulnerable. But now, he's the person I'm most afraid of. This is a bit long, so here is a summary. I had a toxic/controlling friend when I was really young, we spent a lot of time together, and she always chose what we were playing. I think she was gas lighting me now. (Note: We knew each other for around 2 years) I used to have this friend who was toxic. I can't remember her well, as she moved away in 2nd or 3rd grade. It always felt like she was toxic, but she was one of my friends I spent a lot of time with, and we used to sit in the same seat, so it seemed like I couldn't escape. She decided everything and one of the things I remember from when we were playing a game was "Where is my brother?" she said. "I don't know" I replied. "Then why do I see him behind you?" she said, or something like that. I don't even think I knew what we were playing, but we had never decided the roles together. It felt like she was controlling everything we did together. I'm probably overreacting, I know. She had these supportive sisters, though, so it was nice hanging out with them. I know this isn't as bad as the other ones, but it's still related to the topic. Also, we spent most of our time together on the bus. Thank you for reading this.

I have my own little story as well. So basically back in 2018 i moved to a new school and made friends with a girl lets call her dinky. So dinky thought it was okay to always make fun of me even though i told her it hurt my feelings and apparently that made her angry. I decided to tell her as nicely as i could that we had to stop being friends and then she went off crying and said i shouted at her and made her look like the bad guy. Then after that she tried to become friends with me again and i said yes. I didn’t want to get hurt again so i set up some boundaries and that apparently upset her and she decided to play with my feelings again and that night i was so hurt. I told my mother and turns out she lied to the teachers and the teachers made us make up again.. fast forward to February 2020, We’re “friends” and i come to tell her what i need to say and how we cannot be friends again at all and she makes one of my closest friends turn her back on me. Then i told her the truth and dinky decided to text me saying how i should have told her the truth even though it was the truth and now in September she’s trying to be my friend again but i don’t want to feel used again.. Thats my story :)

Hey y’all I need help I have a friend who whenever I hang out with them, are on their phone and barley bothers to interact. They do this when we’re hanging out in our friend group too. Made fun of me for everything I did. Used me for my Xbox One when he had a 360. A different friend kept copying everything I did for KZbin content and got mad that I didn’t play Xbox with him for a day when he ghosts me for months at a time. In a simpler way, he’d basically ghost me for a month or two, then when I do the same for a day, he gets mad.

I was a airhead, stupid girl, but I rather say I have brain fog, because of butterfly thing in my neck. About two years ago, I moved to other city to study, and my roommate in boarding school lived there, texted me if she could come with me to shop. I waited, then she told me she was going to take her best friend with her, and me being stupid, I told her she didn't had to text me if she wasn't going with me anyway, because I took it the wrong way, when it wasn't a big deal, and we stopped talking for about a year. We reunited again after a year. I've grown up from it, and it still triggers me and makes me embarrassed. Before that, me and my two besties had continuously stopped being friends and be friends again, that went on a few times, when we entered teenage years.🤦‍♀️ We're now good friends, with others friends too, and I'm still their airhead, stupid friend. I'm the bad guy in my story of loosing a best friend. We had been best friends since kindergarten to 4th grade even though I changed schools after 1st grade and then later she joined the same school as me in 4th grade. We both were super happy to be finally together again but the stupid and self centred me had to ruin everything. We were playing a game on the bus while heading home and we were deciding what characters each of us will be playing. She asked me to be the husband and that offended me for some dumb reason and I didn't talk to her starting that day. (I know this is the dumbest thing ever and I'm really ashamed of myself for that. I can't even tell the reason to anyone because I'm so embarrassed of myself). she kept trying to talk to me, she even apologized without even knowing what she did wrong. Eventually she gave up. In 6th standard, she told everyone that she'd be moving to another state and probably will never come back. So, our friends forcefully made me to talk to her as she still considered me her friend. And again I did a very shameful thing. I always wanted a hanna Montana sticker that my other friend had so I told them that if she gives me that sticker I will talk to my childhood friend again. The other friend obviously gave me that sticker and I talked to my childhood friend. Although we reconciled, things between us just wasn't the same as how it used to be. It's been 8yrs now since she moved away. We are still in touch but I don't really feel close to her now. And I know that it's all because of how dumb and selfish I was. This is one of the things that I regret very much. Everything got ruined because of me. And no matter how much I regret it or how many times I apologise to her, nothings going to be the same again

I've grown up to be a better person now. Although I'm still not very affectionate towards my friends, I certainly don't act selfishly towards them as well. I'm the type of friend who wouldn't reach out to you unless you initiate it (I know I should change myself more). Don't get me wrong, I love each of my friends dearly, but I'm just not the type who'd call or text someone. Luckily, most of my friends understand me. But there is this one friend (my bestie) whom i don't want to loose no matter what. I lost a friend last year and i don't want to loose another one so i try extra hard to let her know that i still care for her. I may sound biased towards this friend but that's because i haven't seen her in 3yrs now. We are still really close but i feel i should put more efforts because of the distance between us.
