Why Prabhupada said women are less intelligent??

The books written by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada are read by millions, inspiring uncountable persons in their spiritual path. His commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita for example is the most read commentary on this invaluable classic, with more than 50 million copies sold. His bold, authentic, and scholarly presentation of the Vedic tradition received lavish acclamation from scholars and world leaders, and his success in spreading spiritual values capable of counteracting the effects of materialism is undeniable.
However, a component is his teachings that many readers may find difficult to digest is his affirmations that women are less intelligent than men. Nowadays ladies attain high positions as university teachers, doctors, engineers, computer programmers, researchers, and even as spiritual leaders. Many other historical examples can also be added from different times and cultures. Having this in mind, how could one understand this?
This is actually a very deep point that requires an elaborate explanation. That’s why this video is long: there is a certain line of thought we have to go through so this point can be explained. If you skip through it you may miss the line of thought.

@@CaitanyaChandraDasa Prabhupada said women like rape sometimes , it may be right but on the same time he nothing say about men that mean he said women are characterless but men are characterful On an another statement he says when a husbendless woman attack by an another man then it is mercy for her, in recent covid pandemic millions of wife become widow that not mean then seek another man , what a nonsense sentence. A Woman is someone's mother then how mother become inferior who nutrients the society. So the concept of superior inferior is just rule over woman nothing else

Prabhu ji prabhupad once said in his video that sometimes women like being raped Why he said so......there are many people who judges prabhupad in wrong way due to this statement.... please explain....what can be the reason...

I liked your point about women desire a husband who is more intelligent/superior to her - women need to be able to respect the man for a healthy relationship. Its a term that's being discussed these days - hypergamy (though its being misused to mean the man must be rich - actually it must be that the woman finds the man superior so she can respect him).

Hare Krishna absolutely correct but one question in my mind that scripture said that there is no difference between Hari and Hari naam. So women who are in their menstrual period chant Hare Krishna but can't go to temple why. Scripture said women are unholy in these 5 days. I think if a woman is unholy then their children should be unholy. So a brahmachari coming from a mother's womb ,it proves that how a unholy person live in the temple and perform seva

This you describe is some kind of fundamentalist approach. It seems to be some kind of deviation due to the influence of local culture. Prabhupada was not teaching like that. Higher principle is that someone who chants the holy names becomes pure.

Even they comes from woman's womb still there is a difference exist - a son is man and his mother is woman. In this case , can u say a son must be a woman because he comes from a woman ?

In male there is also large intestine where stole is stored, nobody can deny it yes or no ?? @@manasranjanpatra7122 women are not allowed only in some kind of temple because that type of temples are not the temple of God instead those are the temple for specific form of energy dedicated only to masculine energy and you should also know that there are some Hindu temples where men are not allowed because that temple's energy is only dedicated to female....and u should also know there are some temple only for transgender where both men&women are not allowed. Today, the problem is due to our much declination of religious Hindu scientific knowledge on temple and we have developed a blunt concept of temple like other religion where temple means God inside it ,the ultimate power. U said thatWoman keeps her child in womb and struggle till 9 month then why do women wants baby after marriage ? If they really struggle then better to stop giving baby. But stop giving birth for woman also stop her to enjoy sex with man...also see that hidden side..!

A clear cut tretise and discourse. Colusion is that boy must be grow as a boy, a girl as a girl. Simple and clear. What is the need to simply disturb the body with its natural psycology, and make mess out if it? Thank you prabhuji. Its a great contribution... this is really needed. Hare Krishna Among all Spiritual families our divine grace babu ji @srila prabhupadaji is the ONLY ONE who called a woman as mataji and still continues that respectfully. In that case he never disrespects any woman. The reason he said is he has given in many times to many people’s because women are tentatively very close to families and so due to some personal reasons like pregnancy, lactation etc takes some specific time for a normal women to get back to normal life again. It was around a year at that period of time. Unlike these days women take care of their own children till particular period of time. That’s the reason women are inclined more towards their families than work at those days . Today’s situation is different. But he said according to that situation. So never ever misunderstand (his )ji’s words.🙏🙏🙏
