so so true. For years my aunt asked God to see her guardian angel one day. Then on a day where she was sad the angel showed up and asked her, "why have you stopped praying? I fight for your prayers all the time." It is truly a spiritual battle that we dont see.

@V Reno Start with what you want in the core of your heart. Yes, Jesus knows best but he usually wants to partner with us. He placed dreams & desires in your heart for a reason. Be brutally honest with Him about where you are. He cares about where you are, what you are feeling, & what you long for. Be angry, be sad, be happy. He wants to be with you in it no matter what “it” is.

I did 16 years of prayer for God to answer my prayers with a yes. Never did....time for God's help to come ,came and went never saw the help. I gave up my faith, gave up the charity I had created and never looked back. Yes I feel bad for all the people my charity helped but like me they need to deal with the disappointment of help not being there. I answer every request for help with a no....just following example before I gave up my faith.

Because Prayer goes both ways, we Pray for the connection with God, the source of our life. All life comes from God and to be separated from God is to die. By prayer we seek to reconnect with Him, even if we think we're only asking for a favor.

Most respectfully. I could not pray for years for someone to come into Gods kingdom, or for anything over and over, ad infinitum. Its almost like saying God is deaf or unconcerned. I do pray wholeheartedly for those things, then I leave it, but remain expectant and reverent, so I'm not just dumping it On God. I remain ready to act in any way in those things, If God shows me to do so. Maybe I'm also just tired.

4:49 “he sticks with it” *WHY??* Why does he have to _stick to it?_ Why do any of us have to ask for something more that once if we are the bride of Christ, children of God, co-heirs with Christ Jesus... why do we have to ask several times - like BEGGARS - if He knows our request??
@Pacifica74 Жыл бұрын
Why do we have to suffer to grow into the kind of character God wants to see in us when life on earth is so short? We're going to die and be perfected at death anyway? Why can't God just love on His children in the way of helping us avoid trouble & grief? Haven't we had our fill before we got saved???

Umm, I have a question.. well, I don't know if this is a weird question, but.. how exactly do we hear God's voice..? I mean, like.. do we literally *hear* it, or like.. feel it in our hearts? And if we're gonna like.. feel it in our hearts, then how do we differentiate God's voice and our imagination? Because I have a pretty wild imagination. So.. I don't know if this question is weird, but I would really appreciate it if you would answer, thanks. 💛
@loucjenk3 жыл бұрын
No it’s not a weird question. We’ve all said the same thing. If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have His Holy Spirit living inside of you and you will know His voice. You’ll just know. He may speak to you through or while you are reading the Bible or through a person or teaching. You will know. He says His sheep know His voice. John 10:14
@charlotteroath99043 жыл бұрын
I ask the same question. I can only tell you my experience. I've been a Christian for about 30 years. I think as you read the Bible you get insight to things and you understand what's being taught and truth. You may be convicted of sin. I think these are all ways that God is speaking to you. He may learn something from a pastor or come across something that answers something that you're going on in your life which I believe is God. I will tell you twice in my life I did hear a voice inside my head not audible in my ears externally. It was if they were not my thoughts and they were actual words. And shocked that I was hearing it at the time. Once I was crying out to God because of work problems and stress and comparing myself to my coworkers. The other time I was crying out to God about the salvation of my dad. I was not expecting to hear from God either time. The first was a Bible verse that applied exactly to my situation, and I recognized where it came from immediately. This gave me great relief in my situation at work, and I felt as if God spoke to me and I did not doubt that it was from God. The second one with my dad I heard the voice in my head say " I will do all that is my part.". Again, I had no doubt this was from God at the time. I felt a great peace hearing this , thinking that God cares about my dad and would send witnesses to him or something. However, I do not know if my dad will be saved because that's not the answer I got. Now years later my dad is still not saved. He is an old man now. I do not have schizophrenia and this has never happened again. I have heard some Bible teachers say that if you hear voices in your head it's just your thoughts or you are crazy. They say that there are no more prophecies or visions and that God speaks to us today only through his son and the cannon of scripture is closed. So , I started doubting whether I really did hear from God or not. But I still think it probably was him because it doesn't make sense that that would be a demonic deception, and I know it wasn't my thoughts. But we can be deceived ,so I don't really know how to answer your question. I would just say not to expect this, because like I said it only happened to me twice and it if it does happen and if it is legit, it must be pretty rare. And I was not expecting it either time. I have not heard this even though I've gone through some pretty bad things at other points in my life so I don't know why I heard it only those two times. I'm being totally honest here. This happened many years ago and it's only recently that I told a handful of people what happened to me in the past. I wanted to see what they thought about it.

@@charlotteroath9904 I do believe that it could've been God talking to you, but.. of course, I can't really say for sure. Anyways, it's been a year since I posted that comment, and now.. I'm not really asking that question anymore, since I believe that He talks to me a lot now - I've never really told anyone around me though, because.. I'm sure that nobody's gonna believe me. But for now, I guess.. one thing I'm sure of is that, we need to AT LEAST study the Bible. I believe that all parts of the Bible is necessary, from Genesis to Revelation. Though to be honest, I actually skipped Song of Solomon; maybe I should get to it..? Anyways, I guess.. it's necessary for us to understand the Word of God, and to not be deceived. ===== Hosea 4:6 ~ *My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.* Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as My priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. ===== ===== Acts 17:11 ~ Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and *examined the Scriptures* every day to see if what Paul said was true. ===== ===== 1 John 4:1 ~ Dear friends, *do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits* to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. ===== Just in case you're wondering how, I believe, He talks to me: • Sometimes, it could be through posts I find on social media (if those posts are right, that is). Like, in the recommendations/suggestions section. • I have this Bible app in my phone, which posts daily verses and daily musings. So yeah, it could be through those too. But surely, He has never spoken with me face to face as He does with Moses - I don't expect it either; knowing what He said in Numbers 12:5-8, I do think it would be too much, if we expect Him to speak with us like He does with Moses. ===== Numbers 12:5-8 ~ Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud; He stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, He said, “Listen to My words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal Myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of My servant Moses; he is faithful in all My house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?” ===== Anyways, thanks for sharing your experience with me - may God bless you. 🙏

@@nataliahalim9267 God speaks audibly, through His spirit to out spirit, and the knowledge of understanding. I have experienced all of them. The audible one is He told me to forgive someone I was mad at at and I was praying to panishe that person (the person is unsaved) and God told me no, and I should even need to forgive that person as God has forgiven me. I was totally shoked 😯 the knowledge of understanding is through scriptures. Through his spirit is confirmation . And believe me when God speaks to you, you will never have doubt. You are sure a 100% . It's not going to be like is it my thoughts or God's voice? No. You are sure it's not you or the devil.

I heard a voice once when I was 9. It was pitch black, and I had fallen off a tractor hauling a bed. I was just lying there, not thinking anything, unafraid, and then, "MOVE!" It certainly wasn't my voice. I couldn't see anything and was too stupid to sense any danger. I swung my legs immediately to the right, and the tire rolled over the flesh of my right leg. I still remember the bruise. Why did God save me and not other kids? Dunno. Adding more to the drama, I found out years later that I was pushed off. Another thing I didn't know. Imagine being the kid who killed me had God not intervened.
