Exactly that. I try all the best weapons/attachements, I try my hardest, but there is nothing I can do with my 60-70 ping. Add to that all 3 strategies from the video... there is nothing I can really do against a 15pinger of equal skill.

Notice all these players are playing on pc with way higher frames per second than console players while also using controller with aim assist. Also their ping is extremely low which is immensely advantageous. That's something they're not telling you. Don't get me wrong, they're pros for a reason but they're ingrained to find the best tactics possible, which in turn makes them that much better. If you want to have the greatest advantage, play on pc with a controller & figure out how to get below 20 ping. Plus the majority of low skill/noob/bad players don't turn off crossplay, so they're gonna get matched with pc players.

Pros only recently switched to pc and was on PlayStation for years, low ping and high fps obvs makes some difference but it makes minimal difference compared to actual skill, i have a 60hz monitor to play 60fps and I also have a 244hz and I play 244fps and the difference is so tiny in my game, it’s literally 98% skill 2% equipment as long as ur equipment is to a decent quality you’re fine

This helps but when you're on 50 ping and the enemy team are on 10 there's only so much you can do. I find the best way to get the kills is to make sure they never know you are there. I flank and get shots from the sides and the back. I rarely ever win any head-on fights

Get off your high-horse. You're nothing special, and your so-called (condescending) advices don't contribute to anything, as they are out of topic. The difference in ping is something that you can't PHYSICALLY overcome. Unless you're Nicolas Cage in Next or something. And since you obviously don't know, on a 175-250ms TTK, a 40-60 ping difference is a HUGE deficit and on a face-off of similar skilled opponents it's PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to win, even with the better gun (unless you have a one shot kill weapon and the opponent does not).

Pro players get the best because they follow the 3 main rules of an FPS/CoD game: 1) Be good with your actual aim. Duh 2) Be quick and decisive with your movements to outplay your opponent. Duuuuuh 3) keep your center dot in the general area where a threat is most likely to pop out of when not immediately in an engagement.

I’m not a hopper, but I see why people use the movement. If someone is jumping while fighting me, I’m hitting them either way. When someone goes prone real quick, they have a better chance against me being I aim neck, head area.

The real reasons. 1. PC framerate over 100Hz with monitor to match 2. Overclocked controller (high quality controller helps a lot too) 3. 2000+ hours of practice with aim and maps (in game time) 4. 4+ years playing FPS games so if you are not as good as a pro, keep practicing.

In a traditional sense overclocking something would be like boosting the power profile your processor is running at so it can run faster. That’s not really what’s happening with the controller, it’s just changing a setting like on a mouse or keyboard

to get really good on a cod games is map awareness, prediction, aiming. Map awareness = knowing the map and places where to hide and where would others hide. prediction = think like your enemy, where would he be and what would he do. Aiming = knowing aiming for the head and instinct will be built depending how much you play and how much you pay attention to your weakness. knowing your weakness makes you a pro because ull know what to improve on. and dont master all weapons master one weapon. you can become a god knowing your weapon feeling, and aiming to perfection. stick to one weapon and master it.

This is what I was thinking. Basically it seems like the "peekers advantage" he was talking about in this video really only works if you're a controller user with aim assist. If you don't have the luxury of aim assist, this isn't going to be as effective. Yes, you can still get the drop on people if you know EXACTLY where they are around the corner, but it's definitely more difficult.

My problem is that 4 bullets to chest don't actually kill anyone unless I'm sniping. I shot an idle player with 9 bullets in the upper back from only a few feet until he died but in ground war where it shows how many shots i took to die, its always 4-5.

I used to play FPS games since Goldeneye on the N64 and continued playing them on the PS2, PS3, PS4 and now on the PS5. Also play shooters on the PC. I did not have any trouble with COD games since the release of this MW2 version. I used to have an average of 1.8 K/D, but now I have 1.10 with a lot of trouble. Before the jump shots weren't a thing, but now I just can't keep up. I can't even jump shot, because I have to leave my right stick to press x to jump and go back to the right stick. It's incredible to see that others are so perfect in doing so, but I also think there are a lot of console players on keyboard and mouse nowadays. Which makes it a lot easier to do jumpshots. For me this game is getting more and more frustraing, i lose a lot of one on one shootouts, I pre aim, see the enemie, shoot and lose. Within a second.

Would be much better if game dev"s implemented blood loss. As soon as you get shot timer starts counting to when you will go unconscious. This would eliminate all the jumping around corners. No one would want to jump around a corner in real life, even if you kill the enemy your body is now full of bullets, so that tactic does you no good in the real world. This jumping around the battlefield would be satisfying if you're 5 years old. But it's boring for adults to play like this.

yeah i was gonna say no offense to you my guy, i love tactical shooters too but i don’t play cod for it to be super realistic. i like the fast paced competitive edge when everyone is playing like they’re the main character in an action movie shit is what makes it fun for me personally and you have to be good to move fast all over the place and still aim. i understand everyone has different play styles but multiplayer especially just some run of the mill respawn mode like tdm or domination it’s really not effective or in my opinion not fun either to try and hide and play like it’s real. the weapon balancing, attachment/tuning system and much more just aren’t built for very realistic tactical gun play it’s just what makes cod, cod. they even nerfed movement in this one to slow it down and it’s still no where close to being like Arma or Tarkov and it would feel weird i think if it changed to that across the board. but hey like i said i love both kinds of fps games and get what you’re saying but maybe there’s a game out there you’d enjoy more than cod if that’s what you prefer!

yeah for a multi billion dollar studio they sure don’t give a shit about servers (there’s more final fantasy servers than there are cod servers in the us and anyone else is lucky if they even get a server outside of the US. the entire country of Australia has to share one lmao) also their server tick rate is a joke. just look up any other game and you’ll see just how ridiculous it is compared to any other game lol oh and if you haven’t read about their netcode that’s also trash. the game could be a lot better if they could be bothered to improve shit that matters but instead they get AI to babysit everyone in game chat to make sure no one is calling someone a bitch and then their top priority is obviously churning out this wonky ass operator skins and weapon blueprints. they also have a patent for something in sbmm to try and find people that are using the weapon you tend to use the most, except the gun they’re using will be a blueprint from the store and then activision anticipates that you’ll get smacked around by the person using the bought “pro tuned” version of what you are because they think it will make you go buy it. the micro transactions are all they’re ever going to care about from here on out. shit wasn’t bad until the very end of mw19 and warzone but they know warzone is their main cash cow and where most of the micro transactions take place. idk i can still get on cod and make the most of it and have fun and shit but it’s a shame old cod really is dead for good now

@@colincampbell7227 you have the wrong settings, I play on PS5 and it’s easy. Change your controller settings to Tactical Button Layout. That way you use L1 to jump

@@colincampbell7227 you can change button layout to where you use back bumpers to jump but i hate that and i just use a controller with the extra bumpers added that you can map anything to. i only use that shit for jumping it makes a huge difference although not being able to cancel sliding sucks you can at least get more momentum to jump corners using a controller with the back paddles

If someone has 70 ping and another has 10 ping..their IP frames are reaching the CoD server and the CoD server packets are reaching the player's machine 7 times faster than the others. I too remember being 12 and thinking skill mattered the most.

i think it works in reverse to get everyone on a level playing field. you have to slow down the faster ping rate to match the slower player and the faster ping gets penalized. In CDL where they are all on an intranet, everyone is playing at the same speed, not like going over the internet.

This game crushes my spirit every time I play. Genuinely, every game is full of people bunny hopping around corners killing me in the blink of an eye, people using guns that one shot, and enough sweat to fill a river. I try, I really do, I’m always positioning right, try to jump around corners when I can, and everything else people recommend, but it’s rare I make it to even chopper gunner, never mind juggernaut(my real goal every match). I genuinely can’t understand what I’m doing wrong. How do I get better? What guns are meta? What perks should I use? I just don’t get it. It’s super depressing man. Any advice anyone?

Can you do a video showing the 'techniques' on different weapons in the same class? Compare avg numbers..? In no way am I insinuating your skill is not there, but curious to know how much weight weapon of choice plays in the grand scheme. I guess in a way, can 'skill/technique' elevate the more lackluster weapons. Great content! 👍🏼

I watched a few videos of Salty a while back, to see weapon builds. In each video, he dropped a nuke, telling how great the weapon was (even the weak ones). After the 3rd video, I searched the stats of each of his opponents. The best player I found was a 0.8k/d ratio with the average being 0.6 You can't really showcase that even if you are not an asshole. Only if you have opponents with the same exact skill AND ping.

Honestly if you wanna get better, just practicing popping off shots in the firing range. I do it for 30 minutes to an hour a couple times a week and my aim and reaction time is ridiculous now.

This game you turn off ATS but you turn 1 tap to ATS on. it's an inbetween setting and its better than ATS in this game because of no movement and it's obv better than 2 taps to ATS

I keep on Tac sprint to prevent premature wear to the Thumb sticks. If you played the old cods you would know what I mean.
