Humans can swallow most seeds without any problem, as long as those seeds stay intact -- and leave the body as they are. A single apricot stone contains enough cyanide to kill a human being. Avocados are an interesting case, since humans exterminated the giant sloths that were able to swallow them as a whole. It's only due to artificial cultivation that those plants still exist.

I’m pretty sure for the seed thing it’s because some seeds are poisonous to protect themselves. Like for example apple seeds contain a small amount of cyanide

even then, you need to swallow like 5 tons of apple seeds in one sitting for the levels of cyanide to even matter to your body. Bananas are technically radioactive too, but again, you have to consume so much so quickly that it doesnt matter in the end.

Nope its not to protect themselves because the seed isnt suppossed to break open A plamt makes fruit so its seeds get eaten and pooped out later so its not benefitial at all if the animal dies Its also not cyanide thats in it its a precursor your body makes it into cyanide You also need abouy 5 appel cores to really kill you and no one is gonna eat that this counts for all hard pit fruit so cherry's apricots ect.

Pretty sure seeds & stuff you're thinking of are poison just on their own, I remember reading a book back in grade school about this kid in the 20s dying of poisoning from eating cherry pits
