When I was severely injured by my trusted Doctor I never thought I would uncover why I was injured. After my investigation into 12 doctors and 12 pharmacist I discovered the medical system down play protracted acute withdrawal syndrome and don’t believe in withdrawals past two weeks. Why aren’t Doctors formally trained in safe, slow tapering methods off these dangerous meds? The “chemical imbalance theory” has been driving this billion dollar business and injuring so many good people around the world. It’s criminal 🤯.

@@anthonyboarman3833 I’m glad they helped you through some difficult times 🙏🏻 I’m not totally against them I just want people to be aware that for many of us they are very difficult to get off. They are also not to be used long term and like all medications they stop working. The side affects are real and are listed on the packet but many don’t recognise them so move onto even more medications to treat the side affects from the first drug. In my experience I found that doctors are not educated in slow tapering methods and certainly don’t talk about withdrawals past two weeks. I believe you should do your own research before asking a Doctor for advice on a safe tapering plan. It’s not unusual for Doctors to use the 2-4 week taper plan which is way too fast for many and can cause major withdrawals and even suicide. Research is key good luck to you and your family. Same diagnoses. I'm 61 and grew up taught to trust doctors and not question them. 4 and 1/2 months out from having clonazepam forcibly stopped and I can't find anyone who can tell me how long the insomnia and neuropathic pain and burning will last. I've got most of the paws symptoms and checked out benzo buddies but there was no information for people who aren't tampering. I didn't have a choice. No informed consent. My doctor retired and no one would prescribe clonazepam and humanely tapper. Besides, the longest in patient tapper is 2-4 weeks and we all know that's not long enough anyway so I'd still be in the same boat. The pain is so bad that I can't even cry. I don't have anyone. Any knowledge of how long this will last would be a great help. All I find are horror stories and that's not helpful. I don't watch too much on this anymore because it's too late for those of us who are already victims.

Hi, What helped me significantly was changing my diet. Of course one should come off medication slowly especially if you've been on them for years. Watery fruits such as Grapes Berries and Melons support detoxication. fruits supply the brain with glucose which our brains thrive on therefore usually resulting in improved mood and energy. Salads are good for grounding oneself. the more raw fruits vegetables, herbs (some nuts) in diet the better. cooked food is denatured and doesn't have the same level of nutrients so I believe cutting back on cooked meals helps. eating alive foods makes one feel alive. Most of my learning on this came from Dr. Robert Morse a Naturopathic physician and vegan!

I guess that it is not true - family loves also the people who are depressed - but every one has to take care on hin one system for not breaking a part in a wold of expensive living - every one has his limits - family are making a big mistake if they think that some one is always the same and there is no chance to get well again - What I want to say is that it is important for families to give persons with depressions the feeling that they belive in overcoming the depressions - but it is also important for the persons with depressions that they realize that there is something to do to get well again. Do you want to get free of this criminals woh give depressive people drugs ? Good Idea - 2. What do you think has Dopamine and Serotonin to do with Protein ? More than you think! So it is very up to our own living style : look at google how much protein per kg body weight is recommended and try to eat it it is more than most of us can believe - and don't forget that we are born to run , move - and sitting alone makes people sick ! It is not a must or that I think that I know it better - I can imagine that there is so much pain from things that happens in familys and that this is really hurtful , but the best way out is to try to understand thing wich can not be unterstood - maybe by healing yourself - hopefully the family comes later an gives you the love they brothers sisters parents ,... would like to give you - it is al a very said mixture - what to focus on ? I went to look for his book and the Kindle version sells on Amazon for $81 in Canada. Selling a book meant to help people for that price is taking advantage of their desperation.

Try omega 3's, exercise, socialize, learn something new like music which is good for the brain, eat right, lots of fruits and vegetables. Cut back on breads. If food is white stay away eg. Breads,pastas, white rice, potatoes. Nature walks and get a pet.

Anybody healed from SSRI-induced Anhedonia with just time? Even if takes years?
@mardishores40163 жыл бұрын
Not yet. I went off them cold turkey, (bad idea, done while I had one of my rage meltdowns) It is still hell, done a of damage to my organs, brain and mind. The akasthesia and anhedonia are the worst, although the physical pain is pretty horrible.back pain headaches, muscle cramps, stomach cramps., tremendous muscle cramps, aching bones, sensitivity to light and noise. Horrific release of cortisol. Hyper vigilance. Yes, it is Hell. Loss of friendship. . Oh my God, what torment and torture. That was 23 years ago. I am still severely disabled. Unable to drive. Memory loss. Derealuzation dissociation, psychosis, hallucinations. Intrusive thoughts, nightmares, severe panic attacks. Lost All faith in God. Will never believe in God again. Every waking hour is struggle. Deep depression. Sadness. I am shocked I am still breathing. 3 yrs after going off drugs. I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Opted for bilateral breast surgery, had chemo and radiation therapy. Yeah, it's been a real journey. Good luck on your journey. Wish you success.

I tapered for 1 year after 18 yezrs on Cymbalta. 🤬 Counted the beads in the capsules .. about 3 years ago. Was tedious but well worth it. GOOD LUCK 💘

Why are Dr Breggin's books so expensive? Scores of patients entangled in the antidepressants' web can't afford them.

i mostly agree, all ADs generally are hopeless. but MAOIs *definitely* do work for depression and anxiety.

they also can cause violence and shopping addiction, but yeah, a nice dopamine dump will fix depression right up until you try to stop them.

maoi;s were suggested to me for panic disorder. One them a short time then quit.
