I remember the first time I bought "Kid A" and listened to it, I wanted to go back to the store and punch the guy who sold me that shit in the face. Instead, I held back and listened to the album again, still spitting and cursing. Then I listened to it again, and again, and again. After a dozen times, I went back to the shop and bought all the Radiohead albums that were available. And 20 years later, Radiohead is still my favorite band

Ever heard of the best Pink Floyd album Ummagumma? I never heard the first band but I heard enough Pink Floyd albums to tell you that Pink Floyd is a hit or miss. Some of their albums are bangers like Wish You Were Here or The Division Bell, but most of their albums are just mainstream garbage. How many good songs are in The Wall? And how many innovative songs are in Dark Side of The Moon? Meanwhile, point at any Radiohead album except Pablo Honey and I will show you at least 2 songs that are creative, non-repetitive, interesting, with great lyrics, and not similar to any other Radiohead song or to any other song at all. And if we exclude King of Limbs too then I can show you at least 10 good songs from each album that match these characteristics.

I heard some songs of Porcupine Tree, I can't judge from a few songs but they sound pretty similar to Pink Floyd in themes, instruments used, and even in lyrics. Edit: to be more specific, The whole guitar line of Porcupine Tree - Time Flies sounds exactly like the guitar from Dogs (Animals) and the lyrics sound familiar but I can't remember which song exactly are they taken from.

Actually, there is every song in The Wall is a brick of masterpiece, I just cant imagine this album without any song. I think you just didn't tasted it, its really good. And The Division Bell is one their best. About Porcupine Tree, you need to check them, its a Pink Floyd of new era, better sound, long songs, spiritual guitar. Just listen to song "Trains"
