@@hakimssszzz9289 I would like to respectfully disagree. Eminem has destroyed many careers in his lifetime. He has created an insane reputation as someone who has almost never lost a rap battle. Kdot might be hella talented but Em has a history of never letting any rapper win against him despite multiple attempts by many.

@@hakimssszzz9289 Ken can't win. Em has done EVERYTHING in this rap game, he's known as the greatest to ever do it, nd im talking RAP, none of that drake/post malone/nicki minaj trash ass singy "rap". Lyrically nobody matches up to him. Everything is known about Em, he spoke about it all, wtf r u gonna do to attack him except bring back the same shit from 20 years ago? Say he's whack now like ppl have been doing his entire career? Insult his kids again?? This is why he will NEVER lose, cuz he played it smart and he truly has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Worst case scenario? He bodies you and keeps going on and on every album on you YEARS later so everyone knows how shit you are for eternity like Benzino or Ja. Best case? He talks about you in an interview and lets you rethink your next step like MGK. That's why he's dangerous.

In other words, Cole certainly, in addition to having listened to the advice of his friend SchoolBoyQ, was one of those who had already read the script for the horror film that K-dot was capable of making in a few days. It's the Eminem effect. When a gifted MC who pays attention to detail, masters their craft, and actually shows up in the game to do more than just make money but stays true to its roots, no one wants problems. People like Em, KDot, Nas, Rakim, etc will always skillfully be on another level from their peers. They may not be as successful artists as the "main stars" like Drake, but when it comes to rapping, everyone knows you don't mess with them lol.

Highlighting that comment talking about other rappers afraid of the humiliation is a great move because that’s a great point. Kung Fu Kenny is about the work, and at this point most folks understand that you have to out work Kendrick if you’re gonna go at him, so it makes sense most folks are happier to say “better not”. Aubrey’s ego probably got the better of that instinct, but who knows.

So I guess Drake is a clown then, plus the Weeknd, and Pusha T way back in 2018 also said Drakes team were leaking shit, and we all know how that went with Pusha T. But that wasn't the only thing they were leaking to Kendrick, they leaked the content of the songs Drake was doing, when he was dropping and what was going to be said. You're not talking to me fam. You're screaming in the middle of a monsoon of opinions from every which direction. And only a small minority of Drake fans cling to that line of faulty logic that from one verse of one record could mean that K Dot lost the entire beef only because Drake said so in a desperate reply with absolutely ZERO receipts. But if you want, we can adopt your alternative facts and rule set. Every single record where Drake lied about Dave Free being one of Kendrick's kids father w/ zero receipts, eliminate. Every record where Drake lied that Kendrick's wife cheating on him with body guards w/ zero receipts, eliminate. Every record where Drake lied that Kendrick hit his wife, eliminate. right like he used to battle rap back in 2005 on the streets and also against ab-soul just for practice/fun lmao... just bc he hasn't been in a public rap battle till now doesn't mean he had no experience

Being a former battle rapper doesnt mean anything cause Meek Mill used to be one too and he got his ass handed to him because he was stupid and drugged out of his mind back then.

@@faeristYup, he was battling both in Cali and NYC for years too but I think most ppl had no idea. Kendrick is just not really bragging about it

@ColdJoeGaming lol you do have a point with the Meek Mill shit but to be fair Meek is a good rapper but not on the caliber of Kdot. I think this comes down to the individual as Meek went at Game and did well against him. Battle rap does matter because it teaches the art of rebuttal. I think Meek underestimated Drake or didn't take it serious because he had a pretty good diss track until "Pest Control" came out lol. Just like rappers, there are different tiers of battle rappers too. Kdot was battling and around Daylyt who is dope asf. So that's why I think Kdot being a battle rapper, plus how he actually raps, you could assume he was capable of doing this to someone.
