I think for me, there's always been multi-layers of villains in the movie. We are made to believe that Regina is the ultimate villain and bad girl. However, she and her plastics are just as guilty. Even Janice, Damian, and Cady. And hell, not even just the main cast...but a lot of the side characters themselves are kind of not good people. All the rumors, talking about each other, etc. There's so many different types of villains that we tend to overlook the others in the movie and focus on Regina. Which, mind you, not mad at her coming off as the ultimate villain. But, deep down, she wasn't much different than anyone else in the school. She was more noticed for it because of her popularity. Though, I think towards the end of the movie, they kind of touched upon in it during the gym confession sequence. We get to see people coming clean about the mean things they said, or have done to their fellow classmates and instead of it just being mainly focused on Regina. It was nice we at least got to have seen it even it was brief. What I liked about this movie, compared to it's sequel is that it felt more realistic and the characters themselves were relatable some extent. Mind you, I was 13/14ish when this came out. I'm 31 now. And at the time, I never really saw the parrels of how this was sort of like my RL situation in terms of school, friends, etc. Even more so when I got to High School. It was honestly such a fantastic thing to be alive during that time. I'm glad I was at least old enough then to appreciate this cult classic, like I do now many years later.

Yes, but Regina definitely did the WORST things out of all the characters. There's no doubt about that. She's the ultimate mean girl.

this is why in the end, I hated Cady had to disrespect herself like that for a collective of kind of assholey people. Yes she made mistakes and did terrbile things herself. However, the fact is, the other girls are not properly held accountable and practically play the victim themselves. Am I saying Cady should have put herself above all and focused on not being a people pleaser but a self developed grown woman who atleast grew up instead of sponging up everything for the sake of people who never deserved it nor would they care about her well being. She should have homeschooled until college. It's baffling her parents did not understand the culture of American highschool and let things happen until things went out of control. Overall, unpopular opinion, Cady deserved better

It’s called “mean girls” because they’re all mean to each other. Regina, Janice, Cady, etc.

That's why the story is unique everyone is villain except karen!!

Right! I rewatched the movie a couple weeks ago and realized that Karen wasn’t mean at all. A follower, yes, but not really a mean girl. Regina kept her around because she was pretty and her stupidity made her easy to control. 😂

I watched this movie when I was 12, then became obsessed with it as 16-19 and now being 26 I see totally different. This movie is a MIRROR OF SOCIETY, JOB LIFE, RELATIONSHIPS, etc. We have Platics, Janis and Cady EVERYWHERE.

To Me? (Personally), Regina George is like the female Stiffler (Steve Stiffler from American Pie) in girl world! Lol. Dudes, who wouldn't want a Regina George in their life right now!!?? 😍😍😍

The title doesn't really fit the video. This is basically just an analysis of Regina George, and really has nothing to do with why she isn't the only villain.

Cady was a young and vulnerable girl that was manipulated and corrupted. She was a victim.

I found this analysis bone chilling to be honest! Kinda like a "The Mind Of Jerk Paul" by Shane Dawson sort of thing! Haha! I'm not saying it's bad or that, it's just how narcissists out there can do things to vulnerable defenceless people, kind of like a sociopath! It's creepy, but all in all, great video though! 😉👍
