I loved it when the light hit the tips of the horns and the waves were crashing against the rock. Loved the music in your video, also. 😊

Hi Darren, oh yes, returning to places is a really good tip. Not only to get the best possible conditions out, but also to improve someone's photography skills. A great video, buddy 😉 Nice greetings, Christian

Absolutely buddy ! Any conditions will work there and each time you get the camera out it’s a time to learn :-)

Some excellent shots here Darren. I love the faster exposures with birds in them. I really don’t understand the temptation to try longer shutter speeds when the faster ones are capturing so much detail. Great shots, great location, thank you 👍

Thank you very much Paul, indeed for there faster is better, I had to at least give one or two the 0.5 treatment but the light was too good to waste the faster shots ! Thanks for watching Delighted you enjoyed it

One of the main things I love about photography is the simple pleasure of finding a composition, like you have here, and waiting. Watching the light development over a scene as the sun either raises or sets will forever excite me! I never got the chance to shoot the devils horns, maybe a reason to return home for a road trip! Fantastic as always man! The image at 11:15 is wonderful!! Cheers 😊

Great shots Darren, your last vlog with this composition inspired me to spend some time shooting it a few weeks ago. One day I'll go though the 100s of shots from here trying to get a nice big wave! What a place that beach and headland is!

Thank you very much man! It’s a place that delivers every time for sure ! Looking forward to seeing your shots

Such a beautifully dramatic location and one that I would love to visit one day. Patience certainly paid off, you know I'm an advocate of returning to the scene of the crime whenever you can 😂. That light really did lift the image to new heights. Have a great week D 🙏🙏🙏

Nice video Darren! Great to see the pocket 3 in action already. I find the Devils Horns very challenging for good composition. The right side of many shots I've seen true the years is always to heavy and unallocated on the left. Nota easy place to get good shot, but the scenery is amazing!
@DarrenJSpoonley Жыл бұрын
Cheers Pal! That was pre pocket 3, was the pocket 1 :-) Ya it’s a tough spot at times there, I enjoyed the wild storm that came a couple of days after this shoot tho
