Go watch the LSU Alabama game from last year. JD was incredibly efficient, threw some absolute dots, and gashed in the run game when there was nothing there. He made maybe 3 mistakes that entire game before he got taken out. I didnt see a single qb play at that level all year. Conversely i watched Drake Maye against NC State and i have zero doubt that he is the biggest pretender. I'd also add that Bo Nix is being slept on, most accurate qb and has traits that will transition well for his first few years

I agree that Drake Maye is not a first round pick, I watched his game against Clemson and he was just awful in that game, I believe he had 2-3 interceptions and should have had more interceptions but the Clemson secondary drop some easy interceptions, it will be big mistake if they select Maye as the second pick in the draft, I hope Adam Peters is doing his homework, because if he let JD falls to the Patriots and pick Maye or McCarthy, there is no way he will be able to turn the Commanders around.
