@DiaKorrus 18 That's not really true. In Greed he's on track to follow his plan. Everything is working out fine as far as he is concerned. He just doesn't really care about 'dream Echidna' for the same reason he doesn't care about Omega. In Wrath he has pretty much given up on his plan because Subaru is gone and Subaru was the only means he had to overcome the obstacles arrayed against him.

Theory: The Echidna (which is in Omega) was the soul of a younger Echidna. This was done so that her soul can fit into Omega's body since it has less information now. The books in the forbidden library has all the books written by Echidna (in the tomb), so thst she can gain the knowledge she lost after her resurrection as Omega

Well the reason why Volcania killed Echidna was because she could be able to resurrect herself so that's why he destroyed her body before she had the chance to do so. Roswaal wants to do it out of revenge for his Master not being able to come back, but since the dragons blood has miracle healing factors it's possible for Roswaal to want to bring Echidna back with her old body instead of the one Omega is inhabiting

@@erssey6168 this explanation is spoilers due to the 6th Arc having this explanation: Roswaal would have used Rem to act as Ram’s horn, thats why he saved Rem. Don’t forget Rem and Ram can transmit emotions, thoughts, she is able to transmit Mana between the two of them, when Rem was in suspended animation(a state where you cannot experience any pain which had no side effects on Rem prior and after her awakening) Ram was able to transfer all of her burdens when she uses all of her powers.

Maybe Echidna also has a dual personality just like Satella. In arc 4, when Subaru called Echidna 'The Witch of Greed' in front of Roswaal in the Sanctuary, he was offended by that and corrected it as 'Echidna' implying that there is a difference between them. Maybe Roswaal wants to resurrect Echidna seperated from her Greed personality so that he can have her all to himself. Its just my theory though.

My idea is he wishes to resurrect Echidna and only Echidna. The Echidna we know is more like an amalgamation of all the souls of the witches that then manifest each of the personalities of the seperate witches. But they are in fact one being. Uncomfortably so. So he is gonna use her body to pull her soul from the collective and fully resurrect just her. But such a feat is dicey at the best of times. So he needs something that can perform a miracle. Like true dragon blood.

My theory: Volcanica guards the great waterfall aka the barrier that separates this world and Subaru's world, with the dragon gone and Echidna in Omega nothing can stop her from attaining all the knowledge of Subaru's world. Another worlds near infinite knowledge? I don't think that's an offer Echidna would ever pass up. Imagine, the knowledge of nuclear fission mixed with mana. It would make her nigh unstoppable. Sorry I wrote this before watching the entire video, but I still think my theory is partially correct. Omega Echidna (actual witch of greed) wants the dragon gone for the knowledge of Subaru's world, Roswaal wants the dragon gone to resurrect "true/fox" Echidna aka his true love and teacher. But I'm wondering what the clash will be like between them? Arc 11 is going to be insane.

I'm honestly confused on Volcania's mental state as of the current story. I'd assumed that the Volcania within the watchtower was a fake like Reid was, but that doesn't seem to be the case, and we can see that Volcinia was nearly braindead. However, the dragon tablets seem to be working and the entire reason for the selection is for the dragon's protection, which Volcania doesn't seem to be in a state to provide. Additionally, it's kind of vague whether the dragon tablet acts in a manner in accordance with the wishes of its master, like with the Gospel, or if it carries messages from its master, either from the past or the present. This leaves a couple possibilities imo. One, Volcania of the past knew of his fate and used the dragon tablet to bluff and make it seem like the Kingdom was protected. However, the selection process would then be useless, so I feel like I can discard this possibility. Two, Volcania of the past is once again aware of his fate, or the tablet did the gospelly thing of premonition, but the purpose of the tablet's message is instead to elect a candidate capable of leading the country. This fits what we expect of Volcania, though the dragon's protection and reconfirming the pact would still be a lie. Third, the dragon in the tower could be fake and the characters are just wrong. Finally, there could be something weird about the dragon and he could exist outside of time. Unlikely, but a possibility. Anyways, if there is something I missed I'd be interested in hearing it.

I still think that Roswal's desire to kill the dragon has nothing to do with reviving the Echidna I think the reason is unknown and I think it would be appropriate for Roswal as a complex character to have other goals beyond his obsession with Echidna. It's really boring that Roswal's existence revolves only around his love for his echidna, who doesn't really care about him. I really hope that his desire to kill the dragon will reveal his priority other than Echidna and new aspects of his personality

Idk if the Author said they are two different people. Because I heard his exact words were. They seem to be two different people. But me not being able to understand Japanese, but the Author could have said it that way to throw people off. Just like everyone says she has no feelings, but in the side stories we learn she played the bad guy in front of Subaru. Because she wanted him to take Beatrice's hand because the other witches say as much. And she said she would have liked both choices, but doesn't denie she wanted one choice over the other. So I'm not convinced that they are two of them. But this is just like Flugal being Subaru, they is no proof ether way. All we can really do is wait for the Author to tell us by writing the story

He sounded like a evil god figure. If things change in the canon, I might have to change the story. I think he wanted them to be pure breds or at least had most of the dragon blood. I think Subaru had more dragon blood and he might be more suitable to be king. There were hints that his mother was not from this world. It would explain his different shape of his eyes. I am creating new characters to explain more.

The current state of the canon seems to be that Volcanica was a pretty nice guy, or at least that's the impression I got in arc 6 (which of course doesn't mean he might not have killed people when he thought he had cause). I think the current dominating fan theory is that Capella arranged for the royal family to die using her tainted blood. Why she did this is open to question.

I am basically using our real world history and mix it with this series to make more believable and interesting. I like writing about other characters' pov. Roswaal should be strong enough to fight the Dragon with Ram's help considering his condition. Emilia who is slightly weaker than A Mathers was able to fight him albeit with great difficulty and L Mathers is stronger than her. Killing it I'm not sure. They need Ram's full power for that to happen.

No. For some reason they just call the ruler a king when it should be a queen: I’m just borrowing the terminology of the series. They are referred to as dragon priestesses though (rather than priests). So it’s all over thenplace
